This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

A nice hoppy beer. Good white head when poured into a glass. Nice bitterness in the end and the long after taste. Maybe a bit grassy hops. Nice colour.

14/20 Strong hops, caramel, grapefruit and some bitterness. 9.2% powerful but smooth. Taste maybe slightly too bitter and it's head blowingly strong but nice stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

MR. PRESIDENT : Piwo lekko metne w kolorze ciemny bursztyn z ladna lekko kremowa grubopecherzykowa piana. W smaku karmel, intensywna goryczka i slody. Smakuje prawie jak ABW. Ciezkie polpelne cialo z bogatym aromatem chmielowym i dosc wytrawnym finiszem. Juz chyba kultowe piwo w swoim stylu.

As Mr President. Pretty good-for-the-money us style double ipa. As was their tescos finest American double ipa (no longer available? If so, coincidence?). Big nose of toffee and grapefruit and marmalade. More grapefruit, apricot and malt in the mouth. Robust but not as hard-hitting-yet-classy as stone double b*****d ale, for example.

Appearance: dark orange\amber. I couldn’t get much head from it. Nose: aromas of caramel, orange and hops. Palate: a bit of orange\citrus, a lot of caramel\toffee and a fairly bitter floral hoppy aftertaste. The alcohol is well hidden and balanced. Price Paid: £2 reduced.

Bottle. A amazing imperial ipa. perfect balance between the sweetness, the hops, the bitterness and the alcohol. Just a very, very good imperial ipa.

Koperkleurig, mistig, met bescheiden witte kraag. Citrus sterk in de neus. Hop, hars, eucalyptus, sinaasappelschil. Vooral bitter, zeer licht zoetje. Medium body, weinig co2.

Lost my notes about it so will focus only on things that was worth remember. Strong pineapple aroma with background of citrus and herbs. Strong bitternes, pleasant and long staying. Alcohol is barely noticeable. Despite its power, very drinkable.
