This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Bottle @ NK Saluhall. Clear amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of hops, honey, fruit. Flavour of hops, some fruit. Tried it alongside I Hardcore You, go for that one. Whatever Mikkeller did it improved this beer.

Appearance with amber color, cloudy liquid and medium head. Extremely hoppy aroma with fruit (passion fruit, mango) and caramel. Pretty strong. On the palate, it is extremely bitter, hoppy, malty, caramel and alcoholic. A beer personality! Very good! Recommend to be enjoyed by the latter.

(Tesco, American Double IPA) Sweet, fruity aroma. Deep, deep ruby appearance. Sweet malt taste with a gorgeous bitter after taste....so bitter I felt a pepper tickle in the nose. At 9.2% ABV, why drink a glass of wine ever again?! A really, really good ale. A real coup for Tesco to get hold of this BrewDog Hardcore IPA.

Pours a dark cloudy amber with an inch and a half of creamy white head. Truly a beautiful thing. Taste is bloody good; sweet caramel on the tongue which follows through with a strong hoppy bitterness. Awesome IIPA.

Great dark-orange color with nice smooth foam head. Lots of fruity-piney hop aroma, but also sweet malts. The taste reflects the aroma well - lots of hop aroma and bitterness, but also a very heavy malt body and remaining sweetness. Bitter finish. Heavy and full-bodied. A very well-made Imperial IPA.

On décèle légèrement l’alcool. Entrée en bouche sucrée sur le caramel, puis l’houblonnage résineux-pin s’affirme pour une très longue fin de bouche amère. Accompagne très bien l’alcool en fin de bouche. Carbonation moyenne.

33cl bottle into Tulip. Minneapolis. Appearance: Amber/orange in color. Deep cloudy, mostly opaque. Small layer of white head on the surface. Aroma: Complex. Hops - Floral, resin, citrus. Choclately roasted malt undertones. Smells fantastic. Taste: Nicely balanced. Mildy sweet with a pleasant bitterness. Palate: Full bodied for the style. Texture is smooth. Medium length finish. Overall: This beer has nice complexity. The aroma is really well done. Great balance between the hops and the malt. Neither is overpowering, and they build on each other. Worth a try.

33cl bottle from "Cerveteca" bar in Lisbon. It pours an orange and hazy amber colour with a thick and persisting beige head. Aroma is of strong raisin and pines, hops, green mango and some floral nose. Taste is also piney, raisin, hops, fruity and with a nice bitter aftertaste that combines afterwards with a well balanced sweetness. Medium carbonation with a full body and a very dry finish. You cannot feel the taste of alcohol at all. This is a very unique and distinct double IPA and very easy drinking. Recommended for any "hop-head" out there. I would drink it again.
