The aroma has strong notes of over ripe fruits, alcohol, and malt, as well as notes of caramel and hops lending it notes of citrus fruits and elderflowers. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, hops, alcohol, and caramel, as well as medium notes of grapefruit and dusty hops, leading to a very bitter finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2010
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a hazy warm amber with a smallish off-white head leaving some lacework. Intense almost herbal hop aroma with no particular sticking out - what I usually refer to as hop soup. Solid body, lots of caramel and fruit before the hops come roaring in again leaving quite a hop burn. A very muscly Double IPA. 130710

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Cloudy amber, small head. Grapefruity nose with salmiak underneath. Sweet, full bodied with clean rounded mouthfeel. Salmiak strangely comes to dominate grapefruit. Hugely bitter finish. An obnoxious American style IPA.

Trade with Konstifik. Thanks. Pours unlcear orange with a nice creamy white head and lacings. Nose is hops. Pine, orange and grapefruit. Strong hoppy flavor with notes of pine, petroleum and grapefruit. Very little warmth considering the 9,2%. Smooth and full bodied. Nice.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - JUL 14, 2011
Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen Hazy red-amber color; creamy head. Aroma of fruity hops, dust, soil, lightly earthy, cheesy. Correct body strength; strong caramel flavor, and strong resiny hops, with light fruity component. The final is bold, but also a bit earthy and dusty. Tasted side to side with the "I Hardcore You", this one seems to be the one that brings the original beer element to the mix.
