This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Amber-ish with a offwhite head. Florally notes in the nose, with some sweet malty tendencies aswell. Hoppy taste indeed. Sweet finish.

Big citrus hops aroma. Pours cloudy orange with an off-white quick dissipating head. Tastes of apricot and alcohol with a sticky mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Long sour finish. A lot going on here. I’m not sure it all works well together.

Tap @BrewDog Bristol. Small white head, dark amber colour, clear, fair lacing. String aroma of grain, also little citrus. Lightly sweet taste with long bitter finish, full body, average carbonation. Heavy and hoppy - great!

Bottle. Clear light copper to orange color with off white small firm head. Intense sweet citrusy aroma. Full body, oily texture, low carbonation. Balance towards sweetness. Strong bitterness appears only in finish and lingers long in aftertaste. Alcohol is well hidden. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden strong IPA. Lots of hops, extreme bitter but very drinkable. TOuches of caramel and very light sweetness gives it a good balance. Very long lasting taste in mouth

IPA beer with extra bitterness. Intense scent, really captivating. I guess hardcore IPA is well appropriate 0resin, orange, hazy, very bitter, lightly sour, full body, bitter, long finish,

I bought this bottle at amstein in St-Légier. It is a strong IPA. The body is copper-orange and troubled. The taste is powerful, malt, sweetness, some caramel and hop. The sensation is staying a long time in the tongue, good.

Hoppy aroma with grapefruit and citrus. Also hints of malt. Pours deep golden with small, white head. Well balanced taste, grapefruit and pine, quite abrupt. Medium body, slick and average carbonation. Alcohol comes through. Solid beer.
