This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Pours a hazy golden amber, negligible head or lacing. Big up front piney hop flavor, big bittering. Lots of character in this one. Excellent IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Spruce, citrus, resin, tropical fruit aromas. Amber color with white head. Tropical fruit, citrus taste within a caramel background. Dry bitter aftertaste. Great beer.

On tap at BrewDog Sao Paulo. The Hardcore IPA has a very hoppy aroma with of tropical fruits mainly maracuja. It pours amber with a smooth moderate head. The flavor is also very fruity with hint of malt. It has a medium body and there is a slightly warmth alcoholic mouthfeel at the end with a bitter finish. Very balanced.

Great citrus and pine aroma. Dark golden color. Sharp with a dry finish. Light-med mouthfeel. Resigny, piney, and slight mango. Nice bitter bite at the end with slight alcohol heat.

Gute Balance.

Amber color, hazy to clear liquid, yellowish head. Bitter, medium sweetness. Sweet at the beginning, but it’s bitter after that. Bitterness is developing nicely, without sharp transition from sweet to bitter. Strong smell of herbs and a touch of grapefruit. Light carbonation, body full to medium. Very good.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy apricot hue, nice whitish head with excellent retention and lacing. Nose is candied orange peel, big caramelly cakey malts. Mouth is big and sticky, caramel, medium sweet, some bitterness (but not much) alfalfa honey. Goes down alright with a bit of ABV warmth. Nothing mind-blowing though.

Amber color, citrus and hints of butter and grass on the nose. Nice flavor profile for 9.2%ABV and not too aggressive on the alcohol. Nice taste profile with a lingering citrus after-effect on the tongue. I'd drink it again but doesn't totally blow me away.

Bottle. When I read the reviews of this beer I thought it would be great. Not this time. Aroma was poor, a lot of nothing, almost caramel and alcohol. Head very quickly subsided without leaving any lace. Taste....malty, big hit of alcohol, where are the hops? May have been in Scotland? Sorry guys, first beer from Brewdog which dissapoint me.

Assertive burnt toffee malt dominates then hops kick in - herbal and fruity equally - alcohol invisible - overall a fairly well balanced DIPA with good bitterness that pulls it back from submerging into an ocean of malt and brings me back for more - a very good drink, almost great.
