This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Corpo pieno, bassa carbonatazione. Explicitly HardCore!

Amber color, citrus and hints of butter and grass on the nose. Nice flavor profile for 9.2%ABV and not too aggressive on the alcohol. Nice taste profile with a lingering citrus after-effect on the tongue. I'd drink it again but doesn't totally blow me away.

Bottle. When I read the reviews of this beer I thought it would be great. Not this time. Aroma was poor, a lot of nothing, almost caramel and alcohol. Head very quickly subsided without leaving any lace. Taste....malty, big hit of alcohol, where are the hops? May have been in Scotland? Sorry guys, first beer from Brewdog which dissapoint me.

Assertive burnt toffee malt dominates then hops kick in - herbal and fruity equally - alcohol invisible - overall a fairly well balanced DIPA with good bitterness that pulls it back from submerging into an ocean of malt and brings me back for more - a very good drink, almost great.

Bottle, bb 6-2015. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma: resin, pine, grapefruit, floral, spices. Taste: resin, treebark, pineapple, pepper, toffee, pine. Full bodied, crisp, somewhat sticky mouthfeel, high sweetness and bitterness, excellent balance, lovely long lasting pine/resin dry and slightly vinous finish. Lovely!

Fantasztikus darab.

Clear dark amber beer with a quickly disappearing head. Strong grapefruit and sweet malt notes in the nose. Aroma is grapefruit with lots of caramel from the malts and long bitter hoppy finish. Very intense. Alcohol is there but well hidden. Great mouthfeel! Excellent IIPA!
