This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But donít feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell. 2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic. 4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more. 9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks. 2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Amber color, hazy to clear liquid, yellowish head. Bitter, medium sweetness. Sweet at the beginning, but itís bitter after that. Bitterness is developing nicely, without sharp transition from sweet to bitter. Strong smell of herbs and a touch of grapefruit. Light carbonation, body full to medium. Very good.

From Bottle. Was braced for a big hit of hops but got more of big hit of rich boozy flavour, a bit remniscent of a belgian triple. So punchy just have one but youíll enjoy it

Bottle to snifter, rosy copper pour with fluffy head fizzing away to a decent film. Nose is simcoe, prickly pine and ripe fruit. Flavor is pine and herbal, sticky juice, bitterness is forward and hits quickly. Alcohol fairly present. Have had many imperials like this one. Itís ok!

Bottle. Clear orange-amber with a off-white stable head. Arome - intense hoppy, sweet fruits notes, caramel. Taste - starts sweet, malty and fruity flavors with notes of peach, caramel, mango, citrus, high ABV is quite evident, but well balanced, finishes with a huge hoppy bitter kick, long finish. Medium-bodied, smooth and creamy. Solid DIPA.

Bottle 330ml. Clear golden with small beige head. Sweetish piney aroma with notes of citrus and some tropical fruits, lots of caramel and a bit alcoholic. Quite alcoholic flavor, caramel sweetness, medium hoppy bitterness, piney with notes of citrus, alcohol warmth in the finish. Soft carbonation, medium-bodied.

AgentAle (1126) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 24, 2015
Aroma is roasty malts, honey, caramel, citrus, pine cone, earthiness, and clove. Taste is rich malts followed quickly by deep hops which are almost identical to the aroma with slight hints of passionfruit. Aroma is a dark orange with a thin pearl head that retains fairly poorly.

Slightly hazy amber, thin creamy head. Aroma of malts and hops. Taste surprises you: smooth fruity, toffee and malty at first, very hoppy (where Simcoe rules) in the end. An excellent IPA.

Aroma is sweet hops with a hint of grain. Has a fine creamy head and a clear ruby-copper body. Flavour is fruit and candy hops - sweet but not cloying, very tasty. Dry finish. Itís a very nice IPA that stands out in a crowd.
