Bottle @ the Treasure Coast beer fest. Pours dark orangish color with off white head. Aromas of pine, citrus and caramel. Lots of bitterness with sweet caramel and some pine hops. Medium body with average carbonation and a chewy mouthfeel. Much better than the first edition.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 StueyD (661) - Heacham, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2012
Mid to dark amber brown coloured beer with a weak white head. A massive hop aroma, resinous and fruity, in particular passionfruit and a touch of orange, with a slight hint of sweetish malt in the background. Dry mouthfeel. The hops are abound again in the taste, the fruit element is present, passionfruits and oranges, but this time its along side a really green, grassy flavour, a hint of spice would liken it to rocket leaves! The finish is a little more subdued, being tempered by a soothing sweet malt flavour that takes the edge of the hops.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 japi (85) - Kisvárda, HUNGARY - MAY 25, 2012
An amber coloured beer with a big, two or three finger head, but it’s early almost disappeared. Very complex flavours! It has a piney, fruity, floral and citrus aroma. The taste is a little bit sweet and fruity, first. But then the alpha acids come and kick your mouth. It has brutal bitterness. Love it! The texture is oily, the body is full.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Reid (1434) - Salem,Oregon, Oregon, USA - MAY 24, 2012
11.2oz bottle from "Lifesource" Salem
$3.39
Nice darker burnt orange colured body with a good sized (1cm) head..its off white in colour.
Great wafts of spicy, resiny hops greet the nose..some semi-sweet citrus aspects also.Great
Taste is somewhat the same maybe sweeter than expected, slight but pleasing alcohol taste.
Rather odd in the mouth in that the carbonation is very low and what there is gives a silky smooth texture..almost bottle conditioned!
Good stuff and from my old neck of the woods
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sask89 (278) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - MAY 21, 2012
Pours a nice clear ruby red colour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is of toffee and caramel with plenty of floral and citrus hops. Taste is mildly sweet, but quickly gives way to a robust bitterness. Medium body, nice carbonation, smooth and creamy mouth feel. Overall an excellent Double IPA.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 ElDesmadre (472) - Mikołów, POLAND - MAY 21, 2012
Bottle. Reddish brown with a frothy head. What a tropical hop-bomb this is! Citrusy, floral, with mango, pineapple and pine, all with a solid, caramelly-malty base underneath. Full, oily body complemented by oily hops caressing the palate. Light sweetness balancing the very strong bitterness. Some alcoholic warmth in the finish, well integrated into the noble bitterness, that is additionally balanced by the solid, chewy body of this brew. Floral-tropical-hoppy taste with a floral-piney-earthy aftertaste. Finally a beer that manages to live up to its hype entirely!
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 PatBateman81 (156) - Caserta, ITALY - MAY 20, 2012
Bottle 33 cl @ Karhisma Birroteca (Piedimonte Matese, Caserta - Italy). Pours a lively rusty orange, almost clear and with a beautiful-to-look-at white head. Aroma is undoubtely Centennial, filled with citrus, grapes, tropical fruits, caramel, icing sugar, grass. Body is medium to full, a classic Brewdog malt taste you could feel also in 5 A.M. Saint, just doubled in strength. This is heaven and hell, since you could get bored from this mark. Soft carbonation, good. Great white grapes and grapefruit contribution, caramel is heavy but not overrides everything. Finish is dry, among pink grapefruit and resin. Really dry, last long and satisfies palate. Well, in my opinion there are many better european DIPA than that (some examples: Djævlebryg OriginAle, Nogne #100, Haandbryggeriet Fyr or Flamme), but, in reference to massive-distribution or big names, Hardcore IPA is the european answer to Great Divide Hercules or Founders Double Trouble. And is a good answer indeed.

Amber-cooper clear colour, with small light brown head, that goes in a perfect lacing. Very intensive aroma of exotic fruits like grapefruit and mango, dry fruits, caramel malts. Oily, heavy bitter. Alcohol is present, but not cruical. Beer for my taste. Attack on my sensess, making need for more! Awsome!
