This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But don’t feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Bottle - tesco double IPA. Crystal clear, deep red pour, incredibly inviting. Huge resinous aroma of grapefruit and sweet malts. Flavour is sweet, bitter, resin, citrus. Every element is huge but they marry perfectly. Ridiculous that this beer is £2 a bottle. One of my favourites.

Poured from the bottle. Nice head, very clear. Aroma is dank, and slightly citrus. Flavor is also delicious, nice bitterness nice dank flavor with some citrus and pine notes. Finished harsh and bitter and dry. Overall very good brew while I’m watching brew dogs on TV.

Lovely floral aroma hops, being darker, pleasant strong caramel malt smells. Looks good in the glass, a better head than Dead Pony or Punk. Decent, pleasant bitterness, but VERY sweet. A little less sweetness and it would have been great! Lovely rich mouthfull.

Poured from 330mL bottle [batch 172; bb 25-07-14]. Medium orange with off-white head. Sweet citrus and pine hops with some mild sweet malt. Good elements, but I found the sweet and bitter didn’t come together quite as harmoniously as I would’ve hoped for.

Dark reddish gold colour with little yellow orange head. Aroma of fruits, especially citruses, hops. Flavour of hops, fruits, herbs, little malty with perfect balanced bitterness, especially in aftertaste. Really enjoyable beer.

0.33 bottle. Clear, amber color and a large. off-white head. Strong aroma of hops, mango, citruses, pineapple, and pomegranate. Taste is hoppy but sweet, the usual fruitiness subdues the just-as-common bitterness and creates a surprisingly drinkable concoction. Medium body, somewhat creamy texture, and average carbonation. Finish follows suit with strong, fruity flavors and only some lingering, hop bitterness. Overall a marvelous beer, a great example to be followed by other contenders in the style.

Mossy, floral and intense, without being overpowering. It has body and malty undertones. Excellent.
