sample on 6/5/08, rating from notes. deep golden color with a white head. excellent fruit based aroma with some hop undertones. a lot going on in the flavor... many fruits such as banana, blueberries, grapes, raisins and more. quite different and interesting. great palate, full bodied and the diverse flavors carry through the finish. great beer.

Clear, medium-gold, not much head. Hopped-up nose, lots of orange and lemon. Quaffable palate, smooth but strong. Hot and smooth at same time. Very good.

Hazy straw and sort of flat-looking. Earthy, citrusy, woody hop nose with light pale malt backing. Moderate bitterness. Very dry, herbal hop character. Some toasty notes and an alcoholic finish.

650ml bottle, Batch 002. Pours deep, clear, straw yellow with a small, sticky white head, some lace. Smells sweet and earthy pine. Tastes of pineapple and some spicy, grassy hops. Different. Very sweet, somewhat hop resiny with some alcohol as well. Resiny sweet/bitter. Medium/full body with subdued carbonation. Bottle condition maybe?
