COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: made for the Danish beer importer "Drikkeriget".

Bottle at home ... from my De Molen haul ... hazy copper ... thin off white lacing ... sweet pine hop ... light juicy malt nose ... creamy malt front ... juicy body ... light fizz but not too much ... little bitterness ... some pine ... definite citrus peel bitterness... decent enough

from Erzbierschof - hazy red-orange colour with a long lasting creamy beige foam; nice lacework; very hoppy nose showing fruity (litchies and pineapples) notes and resin; a good malt body; very bitter and slightly dry; long hoppy and fruity (pineapple dominates) tones again in the finish - a bit soapy

Bottle. Pours a dark amber/ copper colour, with a frothy off white/tan head. Aroma is of pine, citrus, caramel malts and some resinous hops. Flavor is of pine, caramel malts and a ton of earthy and resinous hops. It is quite bitter and not that well balanced. The body is medium and quite dry. Overall an ok IPA but a bit too earthy.

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle.
Pours nice, clear amber with a good, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is pleasant, powerful hops. Light piney, very floral, some peach, mild resiny. Light caramel background. Low to medium carbonation, fine very dry mouthfeel. Flavour is hoppy and bitter mostly. Some caramel malts sweetness, but lots of piney and floral hops. Quite pleasant actually despite being the rather one-sided affair that it is. Long, lingering bitterness in the back of my throat. Pleasant.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a beige head. Decent lacing. Aroma is pine hops on a malty background, with flowery notes and an off-note which reminds me of garlic (!) without actually being garlic. Fruity notes and a touch of alcohol appear as it warms, while the garlic-thing disappears. Flavour is smoked and malty with fruity and alcohol notes. Hops mucking about in the background. As it warms the smoked notes are diminished. Smoked notes continue in the finish, as well as the fruity notes. Alcohol and a lingering notes of liquorice as it warms. Lingering grassy notes as well. Slightly oily palate. Not bad, but could be better. 15.09.10.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours unclear orange with a small creamy lasting head. Lots of fresh hops and malts. Caramel, yeast and a note of rubber. Dry citrussy and crisp flavor. Good!
