COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle, Specially brewed by BrewDog’s Swedish importer at BrewDog, exclusivly for Sweden.
A double IPA with Cloudberries added to the conditioning tank. So just who is Ingrid? Perhaps she’s a reference to the Swedish silver screen icon or maybe it’s the line seemingly spoken by every other Swedish actress in films from the 60s and 70s (we know you know the ones we’re talking about). One thing is certain – this Swedish inspired Double IPA is not as innocent as she at first appears. A seductive body of rich malts and a buxom amount of Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Bramling Cross hops have been added to fresh Scandinavian cloudberries to deliver this beer’s raunchy tart finish. Designed by the readers of Swedish beer blog BeerSweden, ‘Hello, My Name is Ingrid’ is a celebration of all that is great about Sweden. It does not, however, contain any pickled herrings. Or meatballs.

Draught at Oliver Twist during the 34 min the keg lasted... Pours hazy orangebrown with a compact white head. Nice brew similar to I Hardcore You, but with a rough tart berry finish. The cloudberries was a nice compliment to the hops, balanced.

Bottle from Brewdog.com. Not sure if it’s just me but there seems to be some yeast type substance in the bottom of the glass. Probably left it too long. Anyway, much nicer than I remember, sweet and chewy, and a bit like hardcore. Nice.

33cl bottle, batch #303, BBE 07/2012. Thanks a lot Darren!! Poured hazy amber with a white head that quickly disappeared. Aroma has caramel, tropical fruitiness and cloudberries. Flavor has dark fruits, bitter hops, caramel and tart berries. Finish is dry, and also quite sweet. Great mouthfeel though. Very easy to drink. This was surely a great beer when fresh.

Bottle with gnoff, thanks! Hazy reddish gold with white head. Tropical fruity hops with some citrus and a nice caramel malt undertone. Well balanced, a little sweetness imparted by the cloudberries, medium mouthfeel, bitter finish. Nice.

Mostly rating meads of late but this was a wonderful treat. Thanks to timo for the in person international trade and beer share. Pours a nice rich orange with a tall rocky off white head. Nice sweet aromas of pine and summer fruits with a blast of earth. The taste is rather fruity up front. Pine, citrus, and candy sugar. Bitterness builds in the middle and the finish has a sort of earthy tartness mingling with the bitter. Not sure what a cloud berry is but if they are partially responsible for this beer I love them. Tasty and unique. My favorite brewdog beer to date. Yum.

Clear amber of color with a white head. An aroma with hops, grapefruit, caramel and malt. A flavor of hops, citrus, malt, grapefruti, malt and sweets.

Bottle from Coppers in Newcastle. A hazy brown beer with a floral sweet fruity flavour, hints of strawberries? (cloudberries) and a spicy warming finish. Dangerously drinkable!

Bottle from this summer. Orange colour, small head. Fruitiness from cloudberries apparent, but rather well balanced with the hops. Little too sweet, but nice anyway.

bottle courtesy of konfistik, thanks so much for this treat! bottle is about 4 months old. still a nice hop profile to this beer, moderate bitterness, but stilla ton of sweet and fruity things going on. and the cloudberries, ah the cloudberries! of course! well, i am not familiar with cloudberries, until now!!! lol! they come across very evident in the aroma, sort of a sweeter but slightly tart berry, almost a red berries type aroma. it also shows up in the taste, this time slightly sweet and more tart. pretty damn tasty and also interesting.
