This is no worn-out, park-bench, special-brew-swigging vagrant; this is an amped-up, ranting, street corner hobo. A lord among hobos if you will. Brewed with mountains of wheat, rye, cara and crystal malts, fermented with an American ale yeast and bittered with Amarillo & Centennial, this 4.2% beer is what happens if something classy like a European wheat beer goes to live in Vegas.

330 ml bottle. 293. BB 06/12/14. Malja, Kuopio, Finland. Hazy orangey amber colour with a small white head. Tropical fruits, malt sweetness and moderate bitterness in the aroma. Fruity and resiny bitterness and malty sweetness in the flavour. Nice. Tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[#50 Brewdog beer][Courtesy of Beerlover_Ben – thx!][33 cl. bottle sampled][@’t Antwaerps Bierhuyske][Poured into a Brewdog Schooner glass] Clear amber orange, small solid off-white head. Smells of typical Brewdog (think Punk) hops, oily resinous and quite herbal, touch caramel sweet, overall largely that Brewdog / Punk character. Taste is similar to the nose, oily resinous, quite herbal hop profile, touch caramel, bitter herbal finish, bitter grapefruit. Dry and oily. Another Brewdog beer that just feels like a minor variation of the Punk IPA, I prefer this one, this one is still not that exiting.

Butelka 33cl. OCZY : przejrzysty bursztynowy kolor. Piana jest niewielka o kolorze kości słoniowej. NOS : piwo ma mocne aromaty herbaty i cytrusów. Delikatne nuty owoców takich jak liczi, wiśnia i banan. Mocne nuty jałowca i trawy cytrynowej. Delikatny mleczny zapach w tyle. USTA : średnio gazowane, puszyste piwo o małym nasyceniu (trochę wodniste). Piwo jest mało słodkie i przypomina mocną chińską herbatę zieloną z małą ilością cukru. Do tego trzeba dodać dominującą gorzkość przypominającą pestki cytrusów, w szczególności grejpfruta. Gorzkość utrzymuje się długo i jest cierpka. Ale do wytrzymania. ODCZUCIA : nie jestem trudny jeżeli chodzi o piwa mocno chmielone i cierpkie. Lubie. Mała zawartość alkoholu to również zaleta tego piwa. Szczególnie polecam w cieple, nasłonecznione dni. Duh ! OCENA : smak : 6/10 pijalność : 9/10

Bottle from BrewDog mail order. Poured a clear copper with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma of passion fruit, mango, lychee and caramel sweetness. Initial flavours grapefruit, toasted malt and nicely balanced honeycomb. Finish was dry grain, resin and candied peal. Nice stuff, probably worthy of a repeat brew.
