Fresh fruity hoppy aroma with some reshly cut grass and "green hops" bordering on dill. The hop aroma is held back in the taste, hop resin finish with a fairly thick body and mellow bitterness.

Lovely from the get-go - bit too much sweet sweet malt but plenty of herbs earthy hops to balance - I would like to taste more bitterness at the end but itís not a deal breaker - tastes like a high octane West Coast US IPA - great accompaniment to the large amount of chilli on my pizza. A beer with character... Just needs a Santa hat.

Bottle. Pours a pale copper with a nice cloudiness. Aroma. Strait away i get a whiff of tropical flavours, followed by pine and citrus. Taste. The taste is very complex and is quite similar to the marketing description, this is a beer dominated by piney flavours complimented well with tropical, stone and citrus fruits, iím very surprised that a single hop ipa could be so complex. Overall. This beer is faultless, i would love to see it as a permanent addition to brew dogs range.

33 cl bottle from Uba ja Humal in Tallinn (Ä 2.49 - on sale). BB Sept 2015. Amber with minimal haze. Head off-white with moderate retention and some lacing. Aroma is thick of floral sweetness, tropical fruits like mango and peach, citruses as in grapefruit, a bit of musky notes, and some spiciness as itís warmed. Taste is tropical fruit, malt and marmalade sweetness running amok, with quite a lot of citrusy bitterness, but not nearly enough to cover up all that sweetness. Body medium, carbonation modest, palate slick. A very sweet yet not exactly sugary IPA. Itís just too mawkish for my taste, kind of like overripe mango and peach, especially on the nose. But overall... nice! Why this is a winter seasonal brew I have no idea.
