COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, seasonal
single hop simcoe IPA
This Christmas, wish for a green Christmas. Where flurries of hop flakes blanket the world like you’ve never seen it before. And crunching through crisp, sparkling drifts releases billows of pineapple, citrus and papaya with every step. The reign of the snow angel is over. Long live the hop angel where parks and playgrounds become adorned with the outlines of celestial beings that fell to Earth from angry looking emerald clouds. Tune in to breakfast TV to find life’s on hold for 24 hours as this ’hop day’ demands you rocket down a hill on the back of a baking tray. Or simply raise a glass of this festive IPA as we wish you a very hoppy Christmas.

330ml bottle, shared with Stefan@hotel in Riga. Golden body, with particles (or is it the dirty glassware?) and thin layer. Fresh hops, grapefruit and the characteristic whiff of BrewDog brew. Pleasant and round, average duration. Very typical BrewDog, but I like their brews, so...

(Bottle): Pours a hazy orange, off white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, lemon zest, grass and malt. nice hoppy flavour, mango, oranges and lemon specifically. Underneath that is a caramel/malt sweetness. Very nice IPA but I cant see anything christmas related about it.

Bottiglia. Buona carbonazione, aroma inconfondibilmente luppoloso. Al palato la tipica amarezza delle IPA, birra ben bilanciata anche se sembra di averne bevute molte altre simili a questa.

0.33L bottle from Vinmonopolet. Dark golden colour, inch thick off-white head. Aromas of tropical fruits, sweet malt, hops, grapefruit, pine. Creamy mouthfeel. Fruity flavour at first, then the bitterness and grapefruit hits. Classic and fresh pale ale, very drinkable.
