COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, seasonal
single hop simcoe IPA
This Christmas, wish for a green Christmas. Where flurries of hop flakes blanket the world like you’ve never seen it before. And crunching through crisp, sparkling drifts releases billows of pineapple, citrus and papaya with every step. The reign of the snow angel is over. Long live the hop angel where parks and playgrounds become adorned with the outlines of celestial beings that fell to Earth from angry looking emerald clouds. Tune in to breakfast TV to find life’s on hold for 24 hours as this ’hop day’ demands you rocket down a hill on the back of a baking tray. Or simply raise a glass of this festive IPA as we wish you a very hoppy Christmas.

Bottle Pours clear blonde, touch of amber , rather small white head Smell is very intense hops , pine, typical brewdog . Taste is nice hops, some pine again . slightly malt notes . Very good, as usually when you drink a brewdog IIPA / IPA , but they have so many , that I start to fail to taste big differences in between them.. Very good though , just nothing to go out of your way off, when you can get Hardcore so much more easy .

Bottle from CBB. Nice hazy amber, almost no head. Aroma has lots of passion fruit and pineapple hops, with some pine resin behind hit. Flavour is all simcoe, nice dry finish.

Bottle. Clear copper with a white head. aroma of kumquats, pine, bread, some tropical fruit - brooding rather than zesty hop notes, but nice. Oily, lowish carbonation. Sweet with sticky bread crust and a melange of fruit with moderate bitterness oozing out with some pine at the end. Solid. Not Christmassy. Presumably the reference to playgrounds in the description is an attempt to get the regulator to contribute to their PR efforts.

McWorta (611) - LUXEMBOURG - OCT 25, 2014
Dark golden, faintly opalescent with a medium pillowy white head. Aromas of passion fruit, papaya, subtle pineapple with hints of pine needle and caramel arises. Softly carbonated with fruity sweetness builds to a medium-full body full of fruity flavours with a solid malt background. Well balanced the beer develops some dryness with a lasting finish.

Drank with Bram, Marijn and Rik in Le Havre. Decent IPA. Fruity. Bitterness is too overwhelming, not rich enough. Overall decent.

Amber, clear, very smooth and mellow, smallest head round glass edges, no lacing, still slightly carbonated, forgotten bottle from last year so not at its best, not festive just standard, at bottle shop.

Hazy orange color, small off-white head. Floral hops, lots of tropical fruits, citrus, pineapple, orange. First sip is sweet, big bitter wave comes right after. Long bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, creamy. Wonderful.

Ígéretéhez híven komlóban gazdag perceket varázsol gyanútlan fogyasztója számára ez a meghitt, töményen gyantás, fenyőtobozos illatokkal operáló főzet. Csipkés habja orvosságos keserűséggel bír, teste mintha csak frissen facsart tűlevél dzsúz lenne, mangóval, papayával teletűzdelve és egy kevés ananásszal megédesítve. Hozza a jól ismert BrewDog-ízvilágot, annak is egy számomra rokonszenvesebb, kirobbanóan ízgazdag komlóval alaposan ellátott, amerikai stílusú változatát.
