COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled;
Oblivious to accountant’s interfering and conventional corporate wisdom we do not cut corners like other Lager producers and use malt substitutes like corn and rice to keep our costs down. Our Lager has 100% malt base providing an fresh, sharp initial sweetness and a body and flavour, which endures where others prematurely disappear into a watery bland grave. A combination of the finest German and New Zealand hops add subtle tropical fruit notes and add complexity and depth to this most statuesque of Lagers.

Scopey (1179) - Croydon, Surrey, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2011
Multiple bottles in the past from Brewdog online. It pours pale yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is sweet malt, sweet citrus and grass. The taste is grass, sweet malt, butter, some floral and distant citrus, with a big bitter finish. Medium body and moderate-high, fizzy carbonation. Not my sort of thing.

330ml bottle, bit out of date 24/07/09, dang. Pours a clean golden body with short-lived white head. Pleasant aroma of honeyed malts, dried apricot, and faint ripe melon and citrus hops. Quite full bodied, carbonation is subdued for a lager, clean texture. Grainy malt on the body, honey and light biscuity sweetness. Bit of lemony and stonefruit fruit hop flavour, slight grassiness on a moderately bitter finish with a lingering husky dryness. Pretty good lager, despite the age. Nicely flavoured and goes down smoothly.

330 ml bottle@Olympen, Oslo. Thin white head. Brilliant copper brown color. Aroma is dry and quite sharp metallic, faint malty, with a modest fruity and hayish hop presence. Light malt body, kind of sharp, or maybe tight. Earthy hop bitterness. Light-bodied and almost watery in the mouth. Bitterish finish with a certain crispness. Not very exciting.
