3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from the brewery.
A super-hopped lager, but this does not reach the level of their ales. It has some nice flowery hops, but it is not balanced enough, ending up too perfumed. Look to the German Jever Pilsener for inspiration for a well hopped lager.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, at London Shindig, August 2007. Much of the attention on BrewDog beers is focused on the Paradox, but this is a quite revolutionary beer in its own way (for the UK). A big hoppy lager. Not many of those around in these parts. Pale gold, with a thin white head. Mix of bready malt and grassy hop on the nose. The grassy, spicy hops come through much more strongly in the flavour. Decent, firm mouthfeel. A tasty lager - a rare beast in the UK.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled at Bon Accord, Glasgow. Golden colour, rich head. Grapefruity aroma. Medium sweet, fruity and hoppy. Medium bodied with slick, lighlty buttery malt. Rather bitter finish. Typical modern style hoppy lager, and a good one at that.
