4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
From a 330ml bottle on 19/7/2014. Pours a a clear deep golden with a small head. The nose gives you some lovely passionfruit and lychee, and some floral notes. In the mouth, there’s a light biscuity malt and oodles of fruit, including apricot, peach, passionfruit, lemon and apricot. The hops are prominent but not overwhelming, with pleasant lingering grapefruit notes. Has a medium to full body and average carbonation. I really enjoyed this one. It probably just shades the Comet.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear coppery color, topped with a decent, slightly tan colored head.
There is a very pleasant citrusy hops aroma.
The taste is quite bittery, some fruits are also present. Dry finish.
Very nice, but not the best out of the series.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle from Queens Plaza Beer and Wine 160714. Like the other 3 beers in this series this one is a pretty good drop. Dark amber colour with a tidy head and lots of hop goodness.

I’m conflicted cos Amarillo is my favourite hop but this one lacks a punch - although well balanced with biscuit malt - also could do with more bitterness for my palate - an easy drinker though - a good drink that could be better from a great brewery.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Golden, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit - light citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel, light tropical fruitiness, light - some grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some caramel and light fruitiness, some grapefruit - piney hoppyness. Sweetish IPA with caramel. OK bitterness - could be drier. Too much caramel for me.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Showcases the hop fairly well - loads of peach and stone fruit focus with a nice zestiness to it. Solid drop
