2013 Single-hop release. Part of the IPA is dead series. Single hopped with Amarillo @6.9%
Re-Released as part of 2014 selection. @7.2%
One of our favourite American hops; all about the fruit. Think blood orange, orange zest and citrussy goodness fruit, the fruit is balanced by floral notes in the most classic of new wave IPA hops.

Clear deep amber, two finger dense foamy head, creamy white and long, lacing is good. Delicious arome has mandarin, mango, fresh tropical sweetnes, caramel malt, slightly bitter. Round soft feel, gentle carbonation, medium body, bittersweet, mildly roasted caramel malt stays to long finish. Good enough flavors to wish for a long finish. Really welldone, looks, smells and tastes good. Not the most complex one, more like minimalistic but ingredients are so good that this does not need more.

Tap at Roppongi. Nose of peaches, oranges, less caramel. Typical Amarillo. A bit pissy flavor, lemon, grapefruit, orange, bready. Nice, classic.

Douberd (1999) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUN 4, 2014
Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a tulip glass, ABV 7.2% Deep orange colour on the body, quite clear, thin white head on top, a bit froathy but with a good retention, leaving light lacing on the glass/ Aroma of orange peel, mandarines, a bit of grapefruit, just what yo expect form Amarillo hops. Taste follows, orange peels and mandarines, citrus, some pine too, with nice, long lasting bitterness. Medium thin body, good carbonation, quite dry palate. Overall an IPA offering exactly what you’re expecting as far as the hops used are concerned. Another high quality IPA from Brewdog, very good.

Aroma: Grapefruit-, and blood orange zest citrus-fruity hoppy aroma with notes of pine Taste: Bittersweett, Grapefruit, blood orange zest and piney, caramelised malts oin the back. medium body, soft carbonation. Typical solid Amarillo IPA, but I expect a bit more experimental hops .for IPA is dead.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Grapefruit-, citrus-fruity hoppy aroma with notes of pine and spruce. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Sweet cara-malty taste with a drying piney/resiny and slightly fruity hop kick; quite rounded sweet malty and spicy hoppy finish. Runner up in this years IPA series right after Comet Imo. 15.V.14
