One of our favourite American hops; all about the fruit. Think blood orange, orange zest and citrussy goodness fruit, the fruit is balanced by floral notes in the most classic of new wave IPA hops.

Trockener, stark grasiger Hopfenantrunk. Bitter, trocken würzig, mild herb. Nicht ganz rund, vielleicht etwas zu viel Hopfen. 11/10/9/9//9

Keg at The Brewdog Bar, Nottingham. Hazy gold with white head. Initially quite a harsh, resinous flavour moving towards quite a peachy flavour, bitter, lasting. Interesting beer but not a quaffer for me.

Bottle. Orange golden color. Oily hops, orange and pineapple in the aroma. Biting oily hoppy flavor with hints of grass. Lots of orange and tropical fruit, also in the aftertaste. Oily mouthfeel.

Keg at Brew Dog Shoreditch, 25/02/13. Note for self - 6.9% ABV request style change to IPA. Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin bubbly off white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Nose is malt, citrus, orange, lemon sherbet, biscuity, wheatabix. Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, hops, caramel, sugars. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, bitter dry finish. Ok drinkable stuff but a bit one dimensional and not one I’d bother with again given a choice.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Grapefruit-, citrus-fruity hoppy aroma with notes of pine and spruce. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Sweet cara-malty taste with a drying piney/resiny and slightly fruity hop kick; quite rounded sweet malty and spicy hoppy finish. Runner up in this years IPA series right after Comet Imo. 15.V.14

Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub. Hazy orange color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is lightly malts, dominating hops, nicely fruity. Taste malts, hops, lightly sticky sweetish pine & resin influences, lightly bitter. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle. Golden brown with a white head. Aromas are biscuit with light spiced oranges and herbal mint. Leafy and mineral notes with hints of sulphur and sea water. Flavours are biscuit with light woody pine and leafy notes. Spicy with melon and booze. Decent.

Bottle consumed at Cropredy ’Fairports Annual Reunion’ Festival, Cropredy, Oxon, Thursday 7th August 2014 Pours clear warm gold, really is excellent clarity, a touch of honey bitterness good but under a malty leash. Nicely hoppy, but goes well with smoked almonds. A very good beer but smoother and less crisp than expected. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch nach exotischen Früchten, Hopfenextrakt, bitter. Geschmack bitter hopfig, grasig, exotische Früchte, ok!

Keg, BrewDog Brum, 29/06/13. Copper orange piled with intricate lacing froth. Peach iced tea and sponge nose. Better, nicely stewed hop tea flavour with peach, biscuit, mint and Darjeeling snorts. Real nice.
