One of our favourite American hops; all about the fruit. Think blood orange, orange zest and citrussy goodness fruit, the fruit is balanced by floral notes in the most classic of new wave IPA hops.

Draught, Brew Dog, Manchester. Slightly hazy amber looks with a reasonable sized off-white head. Pissy hop and citrus snout. Sweet malts, fruits and some decent hop bitterness in the flavour. Dry bitter finish. Can’t fault it really.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - bright amber with a nice head. Nose - gentle grapefruit and pine. Taste - lime and grapefruit. Creamy too so key lime pie. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - although not as outright tasty as a couple of the other beers in the pack it is very balanced.

Keg at The Brewdog Bar, Nottingham. Hazy gold with white head. Initially quite a harsh, resinous flavour moving towards quite a peachy flavour, bitter, lasting. Interesting beer but not a quaffer for me.

Keg at Brewdog Camden. Amber gold colour. Low carbonation. Quite a syrupy heavy IPA, high acidity, citrus maybe orange, marmelade. Not overly bitter. Nice enough.

Keg at Brew Dog Shoreditch, 25/02/13. Note for self - 6.9% ABV request style change to IPA. Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin bubbly off white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Nose is malt, citrus, orange, lemon sherbet, biscuity, wheatabix. Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, hops, caramel, sugars. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, bitter dry finish. Ok drinkable stuff but a bit one dimensional and not one I’d bother with again given a choice.
