One of our favourite American hops; all about the fruit. Think blood orange, orange zest and citrussy goodness fruit, the fruit is balanced by floral notes in the most classic of new wave IPA hops.

Bottle. Pours clear lightish amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear, quite pronounced, bitter aroma of hops, with notes of citrus and grass. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with fruity and grassy notes and notes of needles. Lingering, bitter aftertaste. Well-balanced and nice.

Clear golden color, thin white head. Medium body, soft carbonation. Aroma of orange, citrus, malt, hints of pine. Another very good single hop IPA. Amarillo is always a good choice.

Big and lastning off white head over a clowdy golden beer. Very nice piny flower aroma. Nice hop taste with a well fermented taste. Balanced bitterness and easy too drink.

Tap at BD. Amber with off white head. Very resinous aroma, orangey. Taste is very orangey with quite a present malt backbone, caramel and biscuit. Slightly sweet and not quite bitter enough for me. Nice though

Brewdog Shoreditch. Almost clear amber beer, tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with a good carbonated sting. Minerals. A little malt cream with a trace of caramel. Good fresh hops, skunky grass, bitter pine and a pinch of mint. Surprisingly only a little citrus! Finishes with more smooth creamy malt and bitter pine that runs through to the aftertaste. Unusual Amarillo flavours but very nice.

Keg at BrewDog Camden, London. Pours clear, deep gold with a small, creamy white head. Nose holds some urine, ripe citrus, nips of spicy pine. Medium sweet flavor with restrained bitterness, some drying orange, light grapefruit, hints of dank grass. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation, very light resinous grass to finish, some dry pine needles, orange, grapefruit, light pee, some dry pale malts. Well balanced overall but not particularly bright. Still, good and tasty.

Appearance: Hazy amber color with a white layer that leaves a fine curtain lacing.
Aroma: Slightly sweet, rich hoppy and fruity.
Palate: Medium pluss body. Slightly sweet and a rich bitterness. Average carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Rich grape hoppy and balanced tropical fruity.
Overall impression: A really nice single hop IPA.
Personal stats: On tap at BrewDog in Birmingham, England.

Keg, BrewDog Brum, 29/06/13. Copper orange piled with intricate lacing froth. Peach iced tea and sponge nose. Better, nicely stewed hop tea flavour with peach, biscuit, mint and Darjeeling snorts. Real nice.
