Flaske 0,33l. Spandert av Rune og delt hjemme hos ham 14 Apr 11. Gylden. Høyt kremaktig skum. Sterk sitrusaroma. Sitrusen dominerer totalt hele veien. God - men uvariert.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a cloudy copper with and aroma of fresh pine with hint of grapefruit. Wow the flavour is a grapefruit hit with a nice malt backing, i love it!. Reminds me of Feral breweries Hop Hog IPA with more malt.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Bottle) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus peel, grapefruit, passion fruit, dried apricots and hints of crisp-bread. Fruity, malty taste with grapefruit, orange peel, Seville orange, passion fruit, apricots and hints of treacle and toasted bread. Slightly more than medium body, with a touch of sweetness and a generous citric bitterness. Very nice IPA with a fresh and clean hop profile.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
[Bottle from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury] Pours bright orangey-amber, large frothy off-white head. Big fresh lemon aroma. Lots of citrus up front on the taste, lemon and grapefruit, developing into hints of tropical flavours - lime, maybe some passion fruit. Some spice in the bacground - maybe ginger. Enough maltiness to give it body, but a lovely light frothy mouthfeel, which makes it astonishingly easy to drink for a beer of this strength, and very more-ish too - encouraging you to take dangerously large swigs. In fact, despite the American hops, this feels very like a British ale - I could really go for pints of this in a pub (albeit and then fall over very quickly!). Rather than thinking it was a good IPA, I was left think it was a superb bitter - and wondering why more bitters didn’t taste like this. Fantastic stuff!

Bottle. Mouthwatering fruity aroma, grapefruits are dominating. Grapefruit and orange palate, but this is also on the sweet side. Very seducive.

IPA Is Dead tasting in bottle at home with Sev. Cheers Craig : ) Pours a deep amber colour with a fair white head. Aroma of pineapple, passion fruit and mango. Juicy fruit flavours of passion fruit and mango again with caramel and well masked alcohol. Nicely bitter. Mild carbonation and CO2 prickle. I like it.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
0,33 l bottle, Utobeer, London.
Deep golden one with a fine creamy tan-off white head that stays with laces on the surface till the end of the slips. Grape, resin and flowers in the niose, light honeyish malt. Oily body, good balanced tastes of resin and grape, grapefruit, orange and lime, mild malt in the background gives the wawes for the huge ammount of citra-cones. Nice one;-)

33 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Kahdet Kasvot, Tampere. Rated on 14.04.2011
Tasted in a vertical with other three Dead IPAs, this was best. Fresh and not too sweet, feels like a good American IPA.

Bottle that Craig left with me, consumed at friends Saturday 29th October 2011, cheers Craig. Gold in colour, slightly cloudy with a slim white head. Nose is predominantly set and malty, citrus with a dab of pine and I also get a light tropical touch. Really good. A8 A3 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9
