COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nelson is a love it or hate it kinda hop. We are cool with that, if we wanted to keep everyone happy we would be brewing Fosters anyway. Sharp as a razor, this New Zealand hop slices its way through your taste buds and is brutally resinous, almost scraping the intense flavours of passion fruit along your poor tongue.  There is a huge depth of tropical fruit flavour with astringent gooseberry balanced against the robust malt base.  Throw another shrimp on the Barbie mate and you are all set. New Zealand is near Austria, right?

Bottle. Amber. Cloudier than the Citra. Softer nose with more emphasis on tropical fruit. Less of an inherantly dry-hopped flavour. Good show altogether. It was nice when combined with the Citra as well. Good mix. Just saying...

Mango, mango, mango! There are a little bit of passion fruit and gooseberry. But really, my friend who doesn’t drink these kind of beer thought it was a fruit beer.

Bottle from Systembolaget. A little bit hazy amber beer with white head. Very nice fruity hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty taste combined with Nelson Sauvin hops. This was first I had from IPA Is Dead 4-pack, lookin forward to taste the rest three.

Hazy apricot amber with a off-white head. Rich beer with pine, toffee and fruit. A bit chemical and also a strange salt water touch in the nose. Medium sweet with a well balanced good bitterness.

Pours orange/light amber with a large, fading head. Nose shows hefty amounts of passionfruit along with lychee and peach. Underneath is soft sweet clean malt. Very nice. Flavours include more of the passionfruit and peach alongside resinous pine. This is followed by lots of clean sweet malt before the hops return for a bold, piny bitterness. Great moderate carbonation, slightly syrupy body.

Bottle at home, last of the serie. Slight hazy dark golden with a white head, really nice lacings. Aroma moderate malty (caramel), heavy hoppy (citrusy, grapes). Flavor moderate sweet, heavy bitter. Medium+ body, some alcohol felt. This is an IPA, really nice.

Bottle. Hazy orange with a nice and creamy white head. Fruity aroma with passion fruit and gooseberries. The taste was not as fruity as the nose. Bitter beer and rather enjoyable.

Enjoyed this as part of the whole IPA is Dead collection shared with Daje
Golden hazy, medium tanned head. Smells of grapes, grass and flowers. Taste is medium malty with some sweetness. Compared to Soriachi Ace the malts has much more presence and dominance. Nice dry mouthfeel. Finish is very hoppy and bitter. Nice grassy tones

Bottle. Pours an orange color with a frothy white head. Aroma is of white grapes, grapefruit a touch of tropical fruit and peaches, along with caramel malts. Flavor is of light tropical fruit notes, peach, grapefruit and white grapes, and quite alot of caramel malts. The body is medium with a dry mouthfeel. Overall a solid IPA, but quite dissapointing for an IPA brewed with Nelson Sauvin.
