Draught at BrewDog, Shepherdís Bush on 2 Nov. Poured a clear, deep gold, with a dense white head. Aroma of Simcoe hop, golden syrup and gooseberries. Caramel sweetness in the flavour, with spongecake and grass. Finish was toffee, peal and gentle hop bitterness.

Leighton (11900) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 18, 2014
Keg at BrewDog Shoreditch - London. Pours perfectly clear gold with a toght, creamy white head. Lots of ripe, expressive citrus in the nose, some sticky pine. Medium sweet with some sugary pale bread, more sappy pine, ripe orange, grapefruit, tangerine, light urine and grass. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish with some boozy kick, more ripe citrus, pine, pale bread. The hop character is great but itís a little too cloying. Close to being great.

Tap. Brewdog, Leeds. Clear amber. Sticky film of off white head. Fusty orange. Light Simcoe skunk. Quite zesty. Toffee maltiness in the background. Taste is medium bitter. Some lip coating sweetness. Palate is a bit chewy. Finishes light bitter, with a little sweet toffee on the end.

Tap (Birofilia2014, Zywiec)
Pale orange, almost no head. Horrid crystal malt sticky aroma. Bland watery palate. Dull. Messy mashy malts. One of my favourite hops ruined - where are they? Weak in aroma, unsophisticated leafy bitterness in the mouth. None of the good aspects of a very nice hop. Classic blowdog.

On tap @ Brewdog Camden (Greater London). Slightly hazy golden with a small ring of off-white foam and little lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops (mainly), nice floral notes and light caramel/malt. Taste is also of citrusy hops, floral notes, light caramel, good malt backbone, very little bitterness and no alcohol presence compared to the Kohatu version. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Dry finish. Good IPA. Tasty and drinkable. I also tried this beer from a randall with Citra and Amarillo hops. The appearance was a little better with the head being more persistent and creamier. Aroma was a little stronger with more hops and more citrus forward (floral aspect was hidden). A little less carbonation, but it didnít hinder the drinkability at all.
