3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from beersofeurope: I really enjoyed this beer. Typical brewdog IPA flavour with a very fruity hoppy flavour (I tasted vanilla but then after reading other reviews that may very well have been the bubblegum...) Definitely worth buying a bottle, I’ll be getting another.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from the brewery, drunk at home 11th June 2011 with tashi - IPA is Dead set #1 tasting. Bubblegum nose, along with sharp fruit notes (blackcurrants with the stalks in! says Dave) Whisky notes too. I liked it.

Backlog, vertical tasting of all 4 in the Beer Temple (tap), shortly after release. Golden to amber color, white head, good lacing. Aroma’s: herbal, pine needles. Retronasal: herbs (tarragon/dragon?). Herbal flavor, some bitterness, hints of acidity. Medium bodied. Herbal finish, slightly dry and eventually rather bitter. Very interesting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottle) Amber colour with dense, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, citrus, orange marmalade, lemon, a touch of black-currant and rye bread. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, apricots, rye bread, a touch of strawberries and generous amounts of floral, lemony hops in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite well balanced and tasty. Nice one.

La bomba de Sorachi, el lúpulo más anaranjado de la historia, huele y sabe literalmente a chupa chups de naranja, el amargor es como el de la mermelada de naranja, no como el del lúpulo. Sorachi siempre manda.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bright amber, quite a bit of yeast, no foam, raspberry, sugary bonbons, cotton candy, jam, molasses, roses, interesting to try to get familiar with the hop, but not too pleasant.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330 ml bottle sampled in 2011. Pretty clear, golden body with a nice, dense off-white head. Strange aroma of fruit, bubble gum, rubber and flowers. Flavor is sweet and bitter with some kind of artificial fruit, flower and cheese. Medium body and bitter aftertaste. Sure Sorachi Ace is interesting, but as a single hop it can easily be too much, as in this case.
