COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Start with a colossal grapefruit aroma. Pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. The caramel razor is sharp, but the resinous bite drills straight through your taste buds. For blitzing the mediocre, raising hell and revelling in the aftermath, Jack Hammer is the end of the line. The hopped-up, pucker-mouthed terminal extreme of craft brewing. This beer is bitter. Very bitter. If you push that button, don’t say we didn’t warn you…

300ml bottle from ales by mail. Appearance is a clear light golden colour with a large creamy white head. Aroma is earthy and toasty with sweetness of caramel and honey. Taste is slightly sour and sweet with a powerful bitter and dry finish. Ace beer.

Bottle at Amsterdam Cafe Pub, Granada, Spain, 3.3.2015. BBD 26.2.2015. Cloudy orange with a white head. Fruity aroma of cloudy apple juice, and a fruity, a little oxidized, taste. Medium body, bitter, fruity finish.

bottle 33cl from Bierhal De Koninck, @ home. The hops taste and bitterness are a bit too agressive for my taste. Overall a good IPA though.

330ml Bottle. Fantastic Hoppy, Fruity, Bitter IPA. Aroma is Citrus Grapefruit. Perfect balance of bitter and dryness. Excellent. Only slight criticism is that its a bit too drinkable for 7.2% abv!

Tuoksussa sitrusta, tunkkaista ruohoisuutta ja humalapellettisyyttä. Nätti olut: oranssihko, kirkas mutta seassa paljon pieniä partikkeleita. Tiheä vaahto. Maku yllättävän yksioikoinen ja teollinen. Humalapelletit tulevat mieleen. Vahvan ruohoisa, hieman mäntyisä. Kuivan rapsakka suutuntuma, hieman epätasapainoinen. Humalointi vaikuttaa vitsiltä eikä harkitulta, maistaisin vain varoituksena.

Barwa zlota z biala lekko przybrudzona piana szybko schodzaca do cienkiego kozuszka, ktory tez szybko znika, slabiutki lacing.

Aroma is grapefruit, more citrus, and maybe some flowers. Taste is pretty bitter. Sweet finish. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. Really good.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2015 Bottle from Tesco. Pours almost clear golden. Aroma of strong citrus and grapefruit, lots of hops, some tropical fruits. Taste is strong grapefruit, pine, grass, plenty of dryish hoppiness. Long bitter finish. It is very grapefruity bitter indeed.

Clear gold, medium white head. Strong and lovely US hop aroma, notes of citrus and some spicy herbiness. Balanced bitterness that isn’t too much at first, sweet malty notes in the background. Tropical fruit and citrus. Finishes bitter, warming and lightly malty. Nice!
