4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 19/20
Nice hazy orange body with minimal white head. Beautiful piney aroma, hoppy and some grapefruit. Medium body, soft carbonation. Heavy bitterness. I’m in love.

The devastatingly bitter finish will drill straight through your taste buds. If you like hops and bitterness then go ahead. But be warned: this beer has more bitterness than a human palate (or nipple) can detect. For freaks, craft beer junkies and stamp collectors only.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours kind of unappealing, with pure white head. Aroma is nuts (as in crazy), very aromatic, really fruity hops, citrus and fruits like kiwi, cantaloupe, etc. Flavors are also hop forward, more pithy hops, not very sweet, dry, good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy orange color, thin white head. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Aroma is grapefruit at first, with hints of pine and herbs and tropical fruits underneath. Medium sweet, medium bitter taste. Long bitter finish.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Brrwdog Nottingham. Cloudy golden with small white head. Aroma is very citrus grassy hops. Taste is just malty enough to support the hoppyness of this ale. Wonderfull, citrus hop flavors, tropical. Finish is citrus resin bitter. Great beer

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Quite pale with a thin bright white head, no lacing to speak of. Pine and citrus aroma quite hoppy, not real strong. Not as bitter as promised but there is a bite there. Also hints of resin and pine. Not as dense as a lot of good IPA but still quite palatable. Good carbonation and reasonable coat.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at BrewDog Cardiff. Clear gold with a tiny bit of head. Aroma dominated by the intensity of piney resiny hops. Taste is massively bitter, reminiscent of one of those ’bitterer than thou’ American IPAs. Lingering resiny aftertaste, the kind you can only usually dream about. Beats Punk IPA in terms of strength, bitterness and muscle, but lacks the subtlety of BrewDog’s top beers. Still, though. What a journey.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330mL bottle into a spig IPA glass (7.2%). Pours clear golden with a small white head and an amazing resinous piney/citrus aroma. The bitterness in this beer seems to linger like the heat in a good curry. Lots of piney/grassy flavour goodness.

Smells like heaven. Tastes like a nuclear bomb. Recommend this with a Swedish smorgas cake. Best brew dog IPA so far.
