COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The devastatingly bitter finish will drill straight through your taste buds. If you like hops and bitterness then go ahead. But be warned: this beer has more bitterness than a human palate (or nipple) can detect. For freaks, craft beer junkies and stamp collectors only.

The second placed beer in our 2012 Prototype Challenge is a BrewDog staff favourite, and made a brief guest appearance in our bars last summer.

Bottle, 330 ml. Pours clear orange/golden colour with around a half finger of soapy white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma of hops, hops, more hops, citrus and pine forests. Initial huge bitter attack on the tounge gives way to a dark caramel malty underbody, with notes of aforementioned citrus fruits and of course the significant hop presence. Bitterness rises again on the finish, particularly in the back of the throat, though possibly a little too much for my personal taste. However that aside this is a quality IPA.

Pours clear golden with little head. First taste is slightly sour followed by very bitter nicely balanced. Grapefruit aroma. Lots of hops.

Bottle @ home. Aroma is huge fruity hops, like huge, some caramel as well. Flavour is hugely bitter punching fruity and earthy hops, some malt sweetness to back it up but the finish is all hops again. Does what it promises.

Wow... This drilled into my very core - super bitter as expected - low malt - great hoppy citrus flavour - an APA on steroids. Fantastic beer.

Bottle from Systembolaget, BBE 14-08-14. Hazy pale amber beer with a small bubbly head. Strong aroma is very fruity, grape and mango. Flavour is very bitter. Caramel malts and fruity hops, pine. Well balanced, very bitter and hoppy even for Brewdog.

Draught @ CBC2014. Pours clear golden with a lasting and good lacing off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, citrus, elderberry, fresh hops, pine and biscuit malts. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter. Finishes crisp, bitter and hoppy. Nice.

Draft @ BrewDog Manchester. Aroma of lots of hops, grassy citra hops. Some sweetness. Clear light amber with tiny head which is lasting. Heavy bitterness, and moderate sweetness. Finish is very bitter with the aroma. Soapy texture, lively carbonation.

From a bottle brew beers and ciders in bangkok. Pours a nice orange with a white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Shit ton flouties flakes of hops. Not much on the nose at all little but of ripe mango. Big time on your face bitterness that lasts a while. Lots if hops decent IPA but not the best I've had. But I'd have it again.
