Draught @ CBC 2013. Clear yellow color, small to medium sized white head. Smells quite fruity, mandarin, mango. Taste malts, hops, fruity, bitter. Very nice. Suitable body and carbonation.

(Draught at BrewDog Camden, London, 24 Apr 2013) Golden amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, resin, passion fruit and grapefruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with grapefruit, resin, black-currant, a touch of caramel and a solid resinous, citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quite dry. Impressive hop character backed up by a solid malt foundation. Very tasty. Excellent stuff.

Poura yellow low white head Very hoppy fresh aromas of cutrusy fruits, pineapples etc It has a good malty and hoppy start but moves more away with a bitter ending. Wee bit unbalanced given the bitterness ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle, Orangey, golden brown pour with a small white head, carb is fairly low. Aroma is massive citrus hops, loads of hops in this, grapefruit and mango, finish is very bitter, almost a bit too much so. Decent hoppy IPA, like a heavier version of punk

Solid, biting bitterness. Grapefruit, citrus and pine aroma and the taste is much the same. Pale golden colour, so not much of a malt profile, a bit of caramel...just about right to allow all the focus to be on the hops. Very nice IPA.

On tap at Brewdog Birmingham, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma of loads of piney hops, biscuity malts and a little grapefruit. Flavour brings out loads of piney hops, some grapefruit and dry biscuity malts. Super pungent, dry and astringently hoppy but in a good way. Very palate-wrecking. Wonderful to drink for a hop-head like me. Great stuff.

MartinT (6934) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 25, 2013
My Bottom Line:
Citrusy hop resins are balanced out by toffee-like malt nuances in this balanced IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam tops the clear amber.
-Mouthfeel is lean and clean. This is well-done all the way.
-Flavor profile could be more abrasive for a brew called ‘Jackhammer’. This is soft by North American standards.
-The flavor profile is also generic for the style ; not very memorable.

On tap at Watering Hole.

Medium, bit frothy yellowish head, leaving shards of lace over (cold)hazed orange-golden beer. Intense, aromatic hopnose - exotic fruit, but also green fragrant leaves and incense; hessian (hop)sacks. Fruity as none, with obvious oranges/orangepeel, but also tantalizing other delights. Outspoken bitter, verging on metallic, but again very fragrant flavours, with (bitter) melon, (bitter) passion fruit, grapefruit and also kafir leaf. Spritzy, medium bodied, very slick/hopoily. The bitterness might just be a tad less metallic, quinine to be perfect, but the aromas, both pre- as retronasal, can hardly be bettered.
