The devastatingly bitter finish will drill straight through your taste buds. If you like hops and bitterness then go ahead. But be warned: this beer has more bitterness than a human palate (or nipple) can detect. For freaks, craft beer junkies and stamp collectors only.

The second placed beer in our 2012 Prototype Challenge is a BrewDog staff favourite, and made a brief guest appearance in our bars last summer.

Una delle migliori tra le classiche brewdog, molto dolce all’inizio con un bel finale al luppolo secco e lungo. C’è equilibrio e tanti agrumi, anche arancio, frutta dolce e poi resina ed erba sul finsle. Poco carbonata e saporitissima.

Bottle@sitko. Light color with small head. Aroma has pine, grape, tropicalfruits and some malt. Taste is bitter with long aftertaste. Flavors of grape, pine and some sweet malt in the end.

Thanks to Rian for sharing! Nice floral, fresh, very nice floral hops, but way too sweetish due to the 7.4%. Sweetish aftertaste with nice floral hops, not too bitter, sweetish aftertaste.

Pours a clear yellow orange with very light yellow head. The smell is cat urine, citrus, some malt sweetness. The taste is light malt sweetness, crisp citrus ending crisp, a bit bitter and dry. Light+ body with fine active carbonation.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy yellow with low white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, mango, apricot, grass. Taste is light and balanced bitter. Finish is fairly long with increasing bitterness. Light, fresh body with moderate carbonation

Rather boring yellowish color. The smell is impressively flowery hoppy. The taste is a brilliant mixture of bitter and sweetness. However instead of the word "compromise", it’s rather "insane" that springs to mind. I like it.

Hmm, thats bitter! But still well balanced with the Malts. I love it when I'm in the mood for that style... guess what? I am!

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2015 Nice sweet hoppyness in the aroma. Lots of yeast in it. It was the old bottle, so maybe that?s why. Small head. At first it tastes sweet fresh hippy with malts. Than it gets a pinelike hop kick with a long bitter aftertaste. Nice one!

W odczuciu oleiste, treściwe, goryczka delikatnie zalega.

BB 08/07/15. Poured a translucent golden amber with a 5mm white foamy head that retained poorly and laced poorly. Carbonation high with medium sized bubbles. Lots of small yeasty particles settled out. Aroma of citrus (lime, grapefruit), tropical fruits and pine. Taste similar with intense bitterness that bites on the palate. Light to medium body. Smooth but then with a lingering distinct big hoppy bitterness on the finish. A good IPA.
