Ruthless India Pale Ale

Start with a colossal grapefruit aroma. Pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. The caramel razor is sharp, but the resinous bite drills straight through your taste buds.

For blitzing the mediocre, raising hell and revelling in the aftermath, Jack Hammer is the end of the line. The hopped-up, pucker-mouthed terminal extreme of craft brewing. This beer is bitter. Very bitter. If you push that button, don’t say we didn’t warn you…

0,5 pullo@ One pint pub.

Tap at brewdog, Clapham. Pours a slightly orange gold with a white head. Lemony, grassy, light veg aroma. Medium body, medium carbonation. Light caramel, tangerine, marmalade, lemon, pine, white toast... Nice balance, bitter dry and tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Straw coloured with good carbonation. Loose white head to start but leaves really good lacing. Aroma is banging. Loads of guava with resinous pine in tge background. Loads of resin in the mouth with an awesome dry finish that just keeps you coming back for more. Bottle.

Without a sermon or twenty lines of bullshit, dada dada, pure and simple, beer is and always has been about balance. Sadly this is all the wrong way. It has some good points (hops) but mostly bad (hops). We all know and love hops, but this is nowhere near there best effort............but then probably never meant to be;-)

Its a good IPA. Especially a rare find in Shenzhen at Frankie’s. Pale copper color. Little white head. The aroma is citrusy and malty. The flavor is fruity and citrusy. Its bitter, and in a real good way, but these Scotts clearly haven’t been to San Diego or Austin!

Klar lys gyllen farve med lyst skum. Lukt av grapefrukt, sitrus og furunål. Smak av grapefrukt, sitrus og furunål. En bombe av frisk og god humle. Vinmonopolet.

Aroma: citrus, floral, grass; Appearance: pale golden, minimal head; Taste: intense bitterness, slight sourness, slight sweetness; Palate: bitter finish, light body, slick texture, soft carbonation Virtually hammering bitterness. Very well hidden alcohol. Drinking over 330 ml is a challenge since the hops petrify Taste buds :-)

Bottle from mom and brother. Poured a dull gold amber color with smallish white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, funk, and touch of sweetness. Very aggressive in the hopping. Earthy and funky, some pine and citrus. Hops at the forefront, with a lengthy aftertaste.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. Cloudy blond colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Very bitter IPA with notes of grapefruit and pine. Harsh bitter finish. Very light sweetness. Not bad but a bit unbalanced.
