COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The devastatingly bitter finish will drill straight through your taste buds. If you like hops and bitterness then go ahead. But be warned: this beer has more bitterness than a human palate (or nipple) can detect. For freaks, craft beer junkies and stamp collectors only.

The second placed beer in our 2012 Prototype Challenge is a BrewDog staff favourite, and made a brief guest appearance in our bars last summer.

On tap @ Beer Temple. Pale blonde color, slightly hazy. White, sticky head. Aroma’s: pine, resin, citrus, with additionally some malty sweetness retronasal. Flavor is bitter with a malty sweet backbone and light citrussy acidity. Medium bodied. Finishes bitter, herbal, slightly dry. Good, solid IPA.

Tap. Good, solid all round IPA. Slightly heavier body than a typical WCIPA, but otherwise brimming with citrus, tropical fruits and skunky weed. Nice, tight dry finish. Pleasant.

Tasted this in BrewDog, Glasgow, on 31st January 2014. Cask, draft flow system dispense. Dull opaque amber in colour with a thin white head. Strong flavour of ripe mango in the long nose. Thin resiny mouthfeel and poor lacing. Pale malt base gives a powerful fruit flavour of mango, guava, peaches and Gaia melon. Powerful New World hops give a fruity intense kick to the long hoppy aftertaste. Finish is powerful and malty with tropical fruit flavours still in the palate. This is a decent Imperial IPA but there are better versions of this out there.
