Ruthless India Pale Ale

Start with a colossal grapefruit aroma. Pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. The caramel razor is sharp, but the resinous bite drills straight through your taste buds.

For blitzing the mediocre, raising hell and revelling in the aftermath, Jack Hammer is the end of the line. The hopped-up, pucker-mouthed terminal extreme of craft brewing. This beer is bitter. Very bitter. If you push that button, don’t say we didn’t warn you…

Pours golden with a short lived white head. The aroma is lovely grapefruit. A very tasty grapefruit juice like taste with a kick in the mouth bitterness and a sharp grapefruit finish. Great beer

Very fruity smell, bitter taste as expected from an IBU 100. Bright goldish the appearance, with a light head. Best with spicy food, or even alone in a pub.

33 cl bottle at home. Appearance: clear yellow gold with medium white head. Aroma: grapefruit, orange candies, spruce and something soapy. Taste: low sweetness, high bitterness, notes of grapefruit and other citrus fruits. Dry-bitter finish with earthy notes. Palate: medium to full body, oily texture and medium carbonation.

Hazy, light yellow beer with a big white foam. Very fruity and crispy citrussy aroma with a hint of pineapple. Very lively taste with grape fruit, lemon, pineapple and a hint of coconut milk. Starts fresh, fruity and soft but turns quickly quite grassy, bitter and slightly sour which is a good contrast. This is a very good, fresh and fruity IPA with a good bitter aftertaste.

ASPETTO: biondo oro un po’ chiaro. Schiuma fine, bianca e persistente. AROMA: tanto, ma tanto floreale, erbaceo, un po’ di caramello. GUSTO: amaro erbaceo, che stimola la lingua, molto persistente. Ben fatta.

Z butelki buchnięcie chmielem, aromat nieco lupulinowy, leśny, ale i owocowy; w skrócie - chmiel chmiel chmiel. Barwa ciemno słomkowa, piana biaława, raczej niska, opadła do "kożucha"; piwo klarowne i nieco szampańskie, zachodzi intensywna i trwała nukleacja pęcherzyków dwutlenku węgla. Smak - chmiel, ok. Goryczka nie jest olbrzymia, jest duża, ale nie porywa. Piwa o mniejszym IBU bardziej waliły chmielem po mordzie - np. Brackie IIPA.

Bottle at home, bought at Van Alsem. Almost clear golden with thin white head. Very happy hoppy nose. Amazing strong marijuana-like hops through sweet caramel and strong citrus/grapfruit(peel), wheat, pine-resin. Strong bitter over under medium sweet backbone. Medium body and just under average carbonation. Mouthfeel is slick and oily. This is a nice beer!

Bottle split with Pauly Walnuts at temple, pours clearish golden with white head. Notes of dank grapefruit, resin, pine, and booze. Lighter bodied. Dankest beer this session at beer temple. Great hop lineup

On tap at Kompaan beer bar. Clear golden yellow with a one finger white head. Very high on carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, citrus, cannabis, freshly cut grass. Taste: Citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, grass, mango, lemon peel, very bitter. Medium body with a very bitter finish with some burnt rubber. Overall a pretty good brew, very bitter, the hops reminded me alot of cannabis...HAIL THE LEAF! Euh...the hops that is...
