COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Start with a colossal grapefruit aroma. Pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. The caramel razor is sharp, but the resinous bite drills straight through your taste buds. For blitzing the mediocre, raising hell and revelling in the aftermath, Jack Hammer is the end of the line. The hopped-up, pucker-mouthed terminal extreme of craft brewing. This beer is bitter. Very bitter. If you push that button, don’t say we didn’t warn you…

Bottle from beer-shop.gr. Nose of lemon and light tropical fruits, flavor is fruity and bitter. Pretty strong carbonation. Very easily drinkable. A refreshing heavily hopped IPA.

Bottle from Mi-orge Mi-houblon, Arlon. Pours clear golden, white head that dissipates quickly. Strong aromas of grapefruit, lemon peel and hops. Taste is very hoppy, but not too bitter, contrary to the claim on the label. I also tasted grapefruit, lemongrass and orange. Carbonation is a bit weak for my taste. Mouthfeel is full and creamy and the nice bitter taste is very drawn out. Overall a nice beer.

Served on tap at Brewdog Birmingham. Light straw colour with a fluffy white head which quickly fades. Aroma is fruity, citrus hop notes. Fruity hops, not a massive amount of maltiness to back the hops (maybe this had an impact on the watery mouthfeel) and even a bit of tartness. Not a patch on hardcore IPA - the only beer I have tried of Brewdogs which I have thought was worthy of their reputation. This one is not for me.

330ml bottle, pours a clear light amber with a smallish white head that is not too long lasting. Aroma of pine sap and grapefruit. Initial sweetness and vague biscuity malt are soon battered away by the bitter hop onslaught. Big grapefruit peel, pine sap and paracetamol flavours in the super drying, astringent finish. This is not a timid beer. Brash verging on aggressive but very good.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Huge grassy pine aromas. Taste is grapefruit and tropical hop forward, finishing with pure hop bitterness. Solid IPA.

This is as ruthless as it sais it is. Very bold beer by brewdog. Strong grassy flavours with citrus and hoppy taste all over the place. Bitter as hell. Very crisp. It’s kind of an experience to try this beer.

Bottle at home. It pours mostly clear golden with a creamy white head. Floral and grassy hoppy aroma. Citrus fruits. Caramel malts. Sweet and bitter hoppy flavor. Grassy and citrusy. Spruce and resin. Long bitter grapefruit like finish.

Beautiful IPA, great bittermess that borders on too bitter, but this is perfect. Grapefruit? apricot? I don’t know but I love it.

Botella. Algo han hecho con los lúpulos...esta cerveza no esta bien hecha o el lúpulo esta mal, creo q mas lo ultimo. Olor dominado por el queso, nata...algo herbal, heno, lodo...en boca mejora algo...bastante dulce. Brewdog últimamente me defrauda...
