Tropical power hits the ode straight away, big big bitter hit on he gob followed by some really nice fruits and a bit of toasted sugar too. This is one tasty beer. Went down well with my toasted cheese sarnie, which by the way was also awesome. Great sarnie, great beer, what’s not to like!! Good times.

Clear amber color with bit white head. Very prominent aroma of floral hops and tropical fruits. Very hoppy taste with lemongrass, pineapple and grapfruit. The finish is very sharp bitter.

Lively, clear amber beer with a strong citrus and hop aroma. The taste has an initial bitter-sweet fruit hit on the tongue, with a tangy grapefruit edge to it and a very dry, bitter finish that lingers quite nicely.

Dark blond colour. Aroma is syrupy and also has some piney hops. Has a thick feel and a strong hoppy flavour.

Arrived today from the UK, together with my new Teku glasses. When opening the bottle, great hop smell jumps at you and you know what you’re dealing with. Pours perfect IPA colour, white head with berry smell. Feels almost as dry as a strong belgian tripple but dryness and hoppy bitterness are perfectly balanced. Bitterness stays long in your mouth, which I like. Has the expected strong citrusy, grassy hop aroma and some hint of sweet berry. Love this beer, while hardcore IPA is the perfect balanced BU:GU IPA, this is the perfect unbalanced BU:GU IPA of the bitter kind. Another great beer by BrewDog.

Slight haze to a light golden pour. Small white head with a little bit of lacing. Huge mango, grapefruit, dank aroma. Some malt. Malty taste with a bit of dankness. Big bitterness. Nice beer.

Draught at CBC 2013. Clear golden - white head. Grassy, fresh hoppy, light malty, hay, straw, sweet notes, ok hoppy, citrus, bitterness, one dimensional.

Prototype:
Opalescent orange reddish color with a medium creamy off white head that melts down to a small lacing one. Aroma of pine, orange peel, resin and light malt, herbs and hop cones. Fine, medium body, fruity-candy character with a really good hop explosion. Resin, herbs with grape, grapefruits, orange peel and albedo. Nice bittersweet finish with a really bitter aftertaste.
Commercial one:
Clear golden beer with a fine creamy white-off white head. Resin, straw and orange peel, cones and pine in the nose with light malt in the background. Medium body with fruity base, berries with light malts but after the first slip the hop dominates the flavor. Pine, cones, resin and herbs, straw and grass. All the taste from the good side of the hop cones. Drier finish than the prototype.

Sample @ CBC. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are mango, peach, flowers, hops and malt. Easy drinkable.
