Start with a colossal grapefruit aroma. Pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. The caramel razor is sharp, but the resinous bite drills straight through your taste buds. For blitzing the mediocre, raising hell and revelling in the aftermath, Jack Hammer is the end of the line. The hopped-up, pucker-mouthed terminal extreme of craft brewing. This beer is bitter. Very bitter. If you push that button, don’t say we didn’t warn you…

Pours a nice cloudy beer with a good white head. Smells pretty fruity. Grapefruit. Tastes really nice. Big fruity taste and nice bitter. Thick body and a very dry texture with a good average carbo.

Fresh and hoppy. It smells like christmas tree and tastes like grapefruit. It’s taste is bitter, but somehow sweet bitter. Just what I want from IPA.

orange clear beer, 1 finger white head. Aroma: sweet tropical fruits, grapefruit, nice, but not really strong.. Light alcohol and maybe some sulfur. Taste: High bitterness. light sweet and sour. Grapefruit and resin bitter. Palate: medium body, dry, slightly alcoholy, a little lignering bitterness. Overall: Good west coast IPA, but got many better ones.

First tried this as a Prototype. Loved it then and still do. About time I rated it. Pours light golden with slight haze. Big mixed tropical citrus fruits hoppy aroma. Lovely fruity hop flavours. Slight oily resin hop character. Pine. Grapefruit pith. A great Double IPA

Bottle. 7.2%. Best before 26.06.16. Pours a slightly hazy, bit pale yellow, with an off-white head. Good lacing. Sweetish hop aroma; blend of pine, grapefruit, mango, resin and (overripe) fruits. Flavour is sweetish, fruity and spicy hops with a nice, high bitterness. More bitterness in the finish, a wee bit tart, fruity and with a hint of liquorice. Lingering mild alcohol burn. Overall good; well-made and well-balanced. 02.10.15.

Para lupomaníacos. Amargor forte do começo ao final do gole. Alcóol bem inserido no conjunto. Senti falta de um pouco mais de malte para equilibrar.

33cl can bb08/2016, Geers. Thinner than anticipated, yet typical lean Brewdog pour. Massive dankness in aroma: concentrated lime pith and wet bark meets a near-vegetal quality, resins pushed forth into a synthetic dimension even, abv lining. Nice and friendly pine concentrate considering the doses, remaining approachable: citrus pith, resinous synthetics, bark. Medium long bitter finish. Thin, measured thin malt sustenance. PoMo and "terminal" stage HQ craft engineering indeed, managing to marry drinkability and a post-pubescent urge to shock & awe.

0.33 bottle from Pivoteka, had it before at Magic Beer Room in Zagreb. Shared with Vi?nja and Goran, thanks. Pale golden to yellow, small white head. Basil, herbal, citrus, very aromatic. Medium to heavy carbonated. Full body. Very bitter. Heavily hopped. Hoppy finish. Great.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2015 Light golden appearance with little head. Tastes of bitter hops, chili and citrus malt. Light to medium body, aggressive taste and a lasting bitter aftertaste

Pours clear yellow with average white head. Aroma is heavy hops, grapefruit, resin. mango and that’s about it. Pleasant though. Aroma is medium malty caramel, heavy bitter, too ripe mango for me, add liquorice. I can see why it’s appriciated, not for my taste though. Basic good palate.
