Start with a colossal grapefruit aroma. Pile on bitterness after thumping bitterness, and ride the anarchy wherever it takes you. The caramel razor is sharp, but the resinous bite drills straight through your taste buds. For blitzing the mediocre, raising hell and revelling in the aftermath, Jack Hammer is the end of the line. The hopped-up, pucker-mouthed terminal extreme of craft brewing. This beer is bitter. Very bitter. If you push that button, don’t say we didn’t warn you…

Pours a nice cloudy beer with a good white head. Smells pretty fruity. Grapefruit. Tastes really nice. Big fruity taste and nice bitter. Thick body and a very dry texture with a good average carbo.

Cloudy yellow orange body with a light white head. Aroma is sweet almost candied orange and caramel but taste is a bitter ipa with strong hop flavour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Hazy golden color, white head. Aroma has mainly lemon zest, some pine, oranges, grapefruit, flowers. Flavor is mainly grapefruit and resin, fruity, low maltiness, herbal, intensive bitter finish. Quite straight IPA.

Robe blonde et limpide. Mousse moyennement. Arômes très résineux. Les 1eres saveurs sont résineuses, avec des notes d’ agrumes (surtout pamplemousse). Après, fruits exotiques, surtout fruit de la passion et litchi. Très longue en bouche. Une excellente IPA.

Looks fine, aroma is strongly hoppy, herbal and earthy. For some reason I thought this was strong but only 7,2, normal IPA strength. Drinks as one IPA should drink. Aggressively hoppy. Strong herbal character and some citrus. Not that many different flavours though and quite simple. Strong bones in the body. Solid.

straw gold in colour with nice thin off white head. smell is almost raisin sweet, resinous pine, citrus fruit. spiciyness taste is sweet caramel/tropical fruit. that dries up into a lingering bitterness. smooth mouthfeel nice and balanced for the amount of hops. delish!

Pours cloudy copper with loads of sediment. Aroma is a hop punch. Deliciously citrusy, deliciously dank, deliciously sticky. The flavour and palate is somewhat of a letdown. The bitterness is too harsh to allow all of the delicious flavours through. It dominates the palate. Still a great beer, just a little too heavy on the steely bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Orange color with white head. Aroma is grapefruit, pineapples, mango, tropical fruits, resinous. Taste is oily, juicy, same fruits again, big residual sweetness, slight boozy finish. Low carbonation. A fully loaded hop puncher.

Bottle. Clear golden and with white head. In aroma great amount of tropical fruits, resin and pine. In taste dry, low sweet, packed with hoppy flavours. Strong bitterness at the end. Solid brew, one of the best from Brewdog regulars.

Pours a clear golden yellow with a white head which recedes to about a half-finger depth. Aroma is a cocktail of mango, grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is an assault of hop resin, pine, grapefruit and a hint of caramel.
