3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On-Tap at Brewdog Aberdeen (Schooner, £3):
A fruity aroma to begin wtih some wheat and orange notes along with some citrus. There is some very light grapefruit and a hoppy, floral aroma too.
Pale golden colour with a thin, white layer of foam for a head and a slightly cloudy body.
Citrus & orange to begin with a floral taste and some tropical frutis with some wheat thrown in too. The main taste however is a citric orange one with some mango and light, bitter notes at the end.
Bitter & with a good citrus tang to the beer along with medium carbonation and a medium body too.
This one starts quite fruit and has a strong wheat and citrus fruit prescence with a sweet, floral feel to it. Pleasant but probably not one that I would try again.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Keg, BrewDog Brum, 12/12/12. Aroma like some hideous regurgitated Grecian cocktail. Lightly clouded amber with a a fine pile of foam. Washy orange, boiled sweet and cocktail notes finished with wheat. Flimsy, approaching nasty. Although the wheat is good and I will concede it is refreshing. Might work on a beach. Can’t taste any juniper.
