Brewed for the Lichtenstein exhibition at the Tate modern in 2013 l
We all got understandably pretty excited when the awe inspiring TATE Modern asked if we wanted to work with them to brew a special beer to mark the launch of the upcoming Lichtenstein exhibition there. Damn right we wanted to. The result being this awesome 5.2% pale ale. The label features original Lichtenstein artwork and is quite possibly the coolest beer label on the planet.

330ml bottle from Brewdog. Fairly large white head dissipates quickly with little lacing. Body is clear amber. Good hoppy nose, not overpowering, flavour is citrus, touch of berries. Hops remain on the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is good, full with medium carbonation. Very very easy to drink.

Bottle. Light copper, hazy. Pine, foresty nose, with toffee, malts and grapefruit, some strange berryish notes. There’s the normal brewdog caramel maltiness, but the hops are quite .. Unusual. Red berries, citrus. Light body. Bitter. Nice drinkable brew, but dunno.. Didn’t make my day.

330 ml bottle. 028. BB 11/02/14. O'Hara's, Tampere, Finland. Cloudy golden colour with a small white head. Fruity hops, soap, malt and some bitterness in the aroma. The flavour is very nicely hopped, fruitiness, mild bitterness and some niceness. Tasty. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
