330ml bottle from Good Spirits Co, Glasgow (£3.50):
Dark copper amber with a clear body & a 1cm beige, foamy head that fades to half that after about 5 minutes.
Hoppy with resinous pine, strong citrus & orange notes. There’s plenty bitterness with some sweetness (caramel malts mainly) & faint alcohol soon after.
Strong bitterness with pine, grapefruit & citrus taste along with some orange Sweet malts & caramel come through, some alcohol as well.
Smooth, medium body & light-medium carbonation. Some alcohol but very good balance & plenty bitterness.
This one was an excellent Brewdog beer, possibly my favourite of the 70 + beers of theirs I’ve tried. There was an excellent balance & wonderfully hoppy, bitter taste that went down a lot easier than it should have. This is definitely on of their beers that I would love to see brewed on a regular basis, or at least on a semi-regular one; I’ll have to grab another couple of bottles of the stuff before it’s gone forever.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Lively clear red beer with a thin head. Aroma is strong, orangey citrus with a hint of candy-esque sweetness. Flavour is a real blend if things. Orange, sweet malt, caramel, grapefruit and bitter hop cutting through all that for good measure. Leaves a bittersweet taste and it’s got lots of body to it as well. Would go down very nicely on a chilly night.

Bottle Poured into an English Pint glass -- Deep amber color with quickly dissipating white bubbles. Aroma of citrus hops, toffee, and caramel. Flavors that first hit your tongue are a hop bitterness and effervescence that fades into oranges and toffee. Finishes with a slight alcoholic bite. Overall alcohol is hidden well in the taste, but after you finish the bottle you can tell.
