UPDATED: MAY 19, 2009 CBF09. From bottle, says MiP. Pours almost cloudy dark brown. Wineous and roasted malt aroma, light hoppy fruity. Bitter, fruity and floral hoppy. Distinct bitterness. Dry and fruity into a tart hoppy finish. A bit overwhelming in hops profile, yet tasty.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy reddih brown, no head. Smokey and fruity. Very sweet. Solidly malty with clean mouthfeel. Smokey and hoppy, but most of all extremely sweet. Sugar takes over giving severe inky edges in the hugely bitter finish. Completely out of balance.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2011 2010-11-28, batch 243, bottled 2009-05-07, 8-4-8-4-16=40
Cloudy red-amber color (the bottle was shaken); creamy head, medium-sized. Rich malt aroma, with tones of wood and oak. Sweet and sugary flavor, good malt and caramel, finally mature, and round; unfortunately a bit impacted by the shaking and the yeast in the glass. Very good.

2010-07-03, batch 243, bottled 2009-05-07, 7-5-8-4-15=39
Hazy color, dark amber with red shades; creamy head. Aroma of malt and caramel, sweet nuts too, lightly oxidised. Good body; nutty caramel and malt flavor, reasonably sweet; correct bitterness. The final is simpler than the rest. One year in the bottle allowed it to become mellower and rounder; solid beer, good, but not great.

2009-05-16, bottle at Københavnske Øldage 2009, 6-4-7-3-14=34
Amber color, hazy, no head. Caramelly, sweet, a bit vegetable, not impressive.
