Bottle. Pour is a deep bright orange. The aroma is super hops, very inviting. The taste is nice, a little bit too bitter for my likings. Very hop forward, and has a little bit of a metallic taste to it.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 danlo (350) - Durham, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2013
330ml bottle. Clear orange-brown golden amber colour, thin foam off-white head and aroma of grapefruit, orange, mango, pine & hop resin. Taste is bitter sweet caramel & honey, with a burst of hoppy notes - grapefuit, orange, pine and through to a lingering bitter finish. Smooth but oily & warming alcohol mouth feel, medium bodied, medium carbonation. Very drinkable.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 portableparty (1600) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Bottle to snifter. Pours bright amber with a thin tight white head that fades to a wispy film and sudsy tight collar. Aroma has resinous bitter pine and grapefruit some spruce and booze along with spice and good hidden caramel sweetness. Taste is numbing resinous bitter pine grapefruit some spice along with malt that is somewhat sweet caramel, also hints of yeast and booze. Palate is full chalky slightly sticky and drying and warms you up. Solid beer! Every now and then this hits the spot.

I’ve had this many times but it seems like I forgot to rate it. Hoppy and fresh with a light body. Easy to drink.

Uploading old reviews that were missing comments. Not a lot stood out about this one. Disappointing given the players involved.

Serving: 330 ml. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a muddy brownish orange with a small tan head. Not the best looking brew. The nose has a lot of grapefruit, orange, and citrus zest. The flavor has a nice honey and caramel sweetness to pair with the mountain of citrus and resin notes. Full bodied and a touch boozy, but still enjoyable.

2013.02.22 - Mikkeller / Brew Dog I Hardcore You - 12oz bottle in goblet glass. 2013 Vintage. Pours a cloudy reddish copper brown. Moderate foamy light caramel head dissipates pretty quickly, leaving little. Aroma is not obvious to me, surprisingly. I have already tasted the beer and it’s clearly hoppy but they aren’t obvious to the nose. You can smell them more as it warms but not prominent. Mouthfeel is pretty light. Carbonation seems low. Taste: Hops. Hey, it’s an Imperial IPA. Going on fairly old memory but similar to my recollection of Bells Hopslam. Not identical, Hopslam had a more pronounced citrus or pineapple balance with the hops. IHU seems equally or similarly balanced but it isn’t obvious what the counterpoint is. Regardless it is pretty tasty. Definitely worth a repeat, despite me not drinking many uber-hoppy beers. Aroma 6/10, Appearance 4/5, Taste 7/10, Palate 4/5, Overall 16/20

Strong doughy aroma, hint of citrus.
Thick orange color, persistent foamy head.
Balanced flavor, not too bitter, but strong umami.
Full body, slick texture with lively carbonation.

No bottle date, not sure how fresh, but the hops faded quite a bit. Cloudy orange white head. Aroma is alcohol and hops se light booze. Quite a bit of malt for an ipa. Sampled this with the i beat u. Very similar but both would be better fresh. Problem is hard to get extremely fresh euro ipas in the states.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Tinco (417) - Linköping, SWEDEN - FEB 15, 2013
Around one year old bottle forgotten in the cellar....Cloudy deep orange, light brown with a small off white head. Sweet malts, caramel, some sweet orange, slightly boozy, honey, fruity, maybe some berries in there, toasty. Taste: boozy, sweet, caramel, slight grapefruit, red berries. Forgetting this in the cellar did this beer no good. Have had this fresh several times and I can assure you that it is better fresh ;). Cheers! (will re-rate next time I come across it fresh...)
