English: I Hardcore You is a 9.5% Imperial India Pale Ale, an international collaborative effort between 2 of Europe’s most rock ’n roll brewers. This beer is a blend of BrewDog’s Hardcore IPA and Mikkeller’s I Beat You. After the blending, the beer was then dry hopped a further twice. Making I Hardcore You a beer which has been dry hopped four times, or maybe even six times. We kinda lost count.

Ambré orangé. Peu de collet. Nez: fruité. Résine. Fruit exotique. Banane. Pêche. Bouche: entré sucré. Belle amertume. Réglisse. Marmelade. Très résineuse. Salade de fruit. Très houblonné (aromatique). Léger caramel. Final fruité et résineuse. Excellente.

8.8.2014. Not so fresh bottle in Prague. Intense aroma of grapefruit and pine, and aromatic hops. Same dominates the taste: intense hop aroma with strong pine and grapefruit, also exotic fruits try to come up. Amazing DIPA.

Fantastica DIPA. On tap en 2d2dspuma. Mucho, mucho lúpulo. Mango, fruta de la pasión, cítricos, cuerpo denso y resinoso, persistente en boca. Buen lacing. Repetiremos!

Transparent amber beer. Plentiful but not lasting foam. Hop aroma, lychees, citrus, honey and a little alcohol. The taste is surprisingly malty, relatively low bitterness.

Tap at Uiltje bar. Dark amber with white head. Massive sweet malts and sugar, resin, orange, grapefruit, marzipan, strawberry jam. Very very sweet. Full bodied with sticky feel. Very nice, but a bit too sweet for me.

Just numeral ratings and few words during conversation. Quite Basic DIPA. So Brewdog.

Good hopped aroma with fruit and flowers. The taste is fruity and very bitter. Bitterness is intense in the aftertaste and fills the mouth for a long while. After a while you realize that this beer is very very bitter. Far from what I think is a good beer, unfortunately. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

33cl bottle bb07/2015 recommended by Village de la Bière, Strasbourg I/2015. A potent specimen of combined new wave craftmanship, this near-triple DIPA combines boiled down treacleloads of both modern hop artists’ hop signatures, its slowly opening flavour approximating a reticent black hole of slick quince marmelade, citrus pith paste, dessert mango, pear and gooseberry jelly. Never becomes too bitter or hop-aggressive despite all that, while the malt base remains a supporting ectoplasm. Indeed a hardcore piece of hop brawn & the balancing brains in brewing, - also more of an admirable than a loveable sipper.
