English: I Hardcore You is a 9.5% Imperial India Pale Ale, an international collaborative effort between 2 of Europe’s most rock ’n roll brewers. This beer is a blend of BrewDog’s Hardcore IPA and Mikkeller’s I Beat You. After the blending, the beer was then dry hopped a further twice. Making I Hardcore You a beer which has been dry hopped four times, or maybe even six times. We kinda lost count.

This is perfect beer, I just had one and I love Ipas. Had tried the Brewdog Hardcore and was wonderful, this one is even better. what a flavou, smell and taste...My favourite beer so far, along with Rochefort 10 and St. Bernardus 12 (haven’t tried Westvleteren 12). I am now gonna try Imperial Stouts so as to cover all, and see if they are so great.

Bottle from Total Wine, Sterling. Poured murky, with amber color and a tan, lacing head. Fruity aroma with honey, cinnamon, apple, grapes. Sweet taste with well balanced hoppiness. Medium dense, oily body with low carbonation. Sweet and bitter aftertaste. Expected a bit better, but still very good.

0,33 l bottle courtesy of Balazs, thanks!
Deep amber-reddish-orange one with a nice foamy tan head. Honey and caramel based aroma with raisins, huge ammount of resin and herbal hops. Nice oily texture, honey and caramel at first, vanilla, raisins. After the first slip the hope bits a big with their own resiny, herbal character, stays in the dry aftertaste. Wow!

Wow - a perfect blend from these two brews. The beer pours dark amber with a nice head on top. The aroma is sweet, malty, and hoppy, smooth and pleasant in the nose. The flavor is delicious - sweet, juicy, malty, hoppy, and the body is perfectly balanced with all of these flavors. This collaborations is awesome - best Brew Dog beer I think I’ve ever tasted.

Bottled. Mild nose of berries, bubble gum and hops. Large pale head. Slightly hazy golden colour. Malty and hoppy balanced taste. Warming alcohol. Not too sweet and not too sour.

Bottle: A bit unclear, stable yellowish off-white head with a good lace; piney-hoppy nose with a solid caramelly background, some drops of cough-syrup behind; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, soft; warming brandy-like finish with robust hops and a malty tinge. Heavy, well balanced hoppy brew......

Thanks to Pete for picking this bottle up for me from State Line. Pours a copper-caramel color into my tulip. Single-finger white head quickly dissipates and leaves a few bubbles atop the brew. Not much lacing. Nose is some light citrus and floral hops with a few tropical notes. Definitely some sweetened malt in the background. Really faint. Taste brings a pretty good dose of bitterness as well as a bit of green-hop heat, although I don’t believe this uses fresh hops. Crosses over into some booze. Slight caramel and toffee base. The feel is a bit boozy with a pretty good amount of bitterness. A very dry finish and a bit of cardboard shows up after the swallow. A bit off. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 11-10-2010

Bottled. A dark copper coloured beer with a big white head. A massive hoppy nose with big grapefruit notes. A large body with again lots of citrussy hops. The malts give some balancing sweetness. Not a lot different to regular hardcore really. Very scrummy.
