The beer itself is a 4.5% blend of 77 Lager and Trashy Blonde and the bottle sports a proud moustache.

Botle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear golden with an off-white head. Aroma of a little citrus and butter. Medium body, sweet malt, a little fruit and again butter. Dry finish. 100110

Bottle, Beer Ritz., Leeds. Unremarkable looking golden pour with minimal head. Some citrus and hop presence in the nose. Mildly hoppy flavour but not much shining here. Drying finish. Like taches themselves there is the whiff of dodginess lingering here. Drinkable fodder but not da finest hour from the bdog crew.

Several bottles ordered from the brewery website, drunk in Nov and Dec 09. Clear gold with a small white head. Buttery malt aroma and flavour. Unfortunately, this isn’t as good as the sum of its parts and I’ll stick to 77 Lager. Good moustache though!

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is crisp citrus fruity and light spiced, classic UK hops profile. Bitter, citrusy and mild spiced hops flavoured, rather clean and crisp. Lingering dry and citrusy flavoured finish.

Bottle from brewdog webshop. Clear golden colour, firm white head. Aroma is fresh hoppy, some malts. Taste of grassy hops and malts. Slightly dry.

A Mes rate. Bottle at the Rake.
A good cause no doubt, but this really didn’t work. I have on a few very rare occasions detected hints of diacetyl in BrewDog bottled beers, this one, was just completely over come by it. The two beers apart are great, together, they just remind me of an ex-girlfriend... seemed like a good idea but never should have happened. Sorry guys, you know I love ya!

Bottle in the rake. Alround rating: Pale and buttery malt, seems to be more carbonated than the usual brewdog british beers?, grassy bittering hop and it seems to be very heavily hopped, but it has too much diactyl in it.

KnutAlbert (6067) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 14, 2009
Bottle from Utobeer, London. For a good cause, but this was not very impressive. The two beers blended to not add anything to each other, it is a decent refreshing lager with some nice hops giving a citrus bitterness, but not much more.

harrisoni (13596) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 13, 2009
Bottle from The Rake. Batch 001, BBE 16/05/2010, 60% Trashy Blonde, 40% 77 Lager, I seem to remember someone saying it is. Paleish gold, thickish white head. Diacetyl on aroma. Bit better in mouth, but way too buttery. Bit of stale malt even. Not the best beer to come out of what is usually an excellent brewery.

Bottle at home .... golden yellow ... thin white lacing .... sweet lager hop ... crisp bitterness ... little lager hop ... some lemon ... some bitter peels... Decent enough but not really for me
