Bottle, Beer Ritz., Leeds. Unremarkable looking golden pour with minimal head. Some citrus and hop presence in the nose. Mildly hoppy flavour but not much shining here. Drying finish. Like taches themselves there is the whiff of dodginess lingering here. Drinkable fodder but not da finest hour from the bdog crew.

Scopey (1659) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2011
Old bottle, purchased at Utobeer about a year ago. Thought I should put this beer to rest...... It pours golden yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is butter, corn and citrus fruit. The taste is butter, citrus, floral, sweet malt and odd spiciness, with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not up to the usual Brewdog beers (not even when I had it fresh years ago!).

Bottled. A golden beer with a nice thick white head. There is a little diacetyl in the nose together with lemony hops. Good tropical fruit citrus flavours. Decent body and quite tasty and Summery. The qualities of the 77 Lager are there to see.

Poured from bottle at home into goblet glass. Bought from Utobeer. Batch 001 on bottle. Hand written. The colour is a very good appearance after an initial off-putting head. This peters out to a lovely golden largery texture. The pallet is quite smooth. I can sense citrus hops; hey, some floral level and a nice honey body. This is a most enjoyable beer.. I am enjoying this and would love to have it fresh for hop reasons. This has to be a larger. A good beer.
