And this time it is all about the beer, and the beer is awesome! Gone are the 200+ IBUs which brought grown men to tears! Our new Nanny State is 0.5% ABV and focuses on being a great drink as opposed to a great publicity ploy. This beer is now focussed on getting all that is good about BrewDog into a practically alcohol free format. It is a West Coast inspired pale ale with a difference!

The beer has 45 IBUS and is brewed with centennial, amarillo, columbus, cascade and simcoe and intensively dry-hopped with centennial and amarillo. The backbone is provided by 8 different types of speciality malts with only 87 kilos of malt used in a 20HL batch (our Punk IPA uses 450 kilos in 20HL).

330 ml bottle. The aroma has deliciously fruity notes, with characters of a nice medium light bodied IPA. It’s dark brown and slightly cloudy, with medium high livelyness. It also has notes of minerals and chalk. The taste is quite bitter, but watery, with an aftertaste of minerals. In general this makes it a rather disappointing experience, because the almost perfect aroma "lies" about the rest of the beer.

#1250 // 33 cl. bottle split with Kraddel // an affordable Brewdog gimmick I have been interested in for a while // wow way darker than I expected, surprisingly dark brown amber, decent tanned head, unfortunately bottom carries too many odd ufo’s for my taste // smell is very weird, it is pine but it is very strangely sweet, smells a bit like feet, grains and rotting oranges // taste, first thing this is shockingly watery, almost like plain water, very bitter metallic, pine resin, rotting fruits, touch fruit, citrus, plastic, like that electrical thing that kills mosquitoes that I used to have when i was little, ok at first but the more you drink the harder the off-flavors become, it is too much to drink, harsh // very, very watery body // interesting concept perhaps but one that can probably never work and this is obviously not the way to do it if you want to something drinkable, Brewdog IPA’s are not that good on their own anyway // american hops are probably not the way to go either, noble perhaps? // glad I didn’t have the whole bottle to finish // pure water body

split with 77 ships pours very dark, almost brown ! looks wattery in the foam, and the gas in the glass.. light scent, much more taste than expected bitter, wattery aftertaste that also contains metalic things in it. in the begining i was like ok, this is better thazn watter or coca cola, but i have to take my words back, even half a glas is simpley to much cause of its borningness and weird kinda aftertaste. a full bottle would just be pushing it !

Aroma of citrus and pineapple. A good bitterness at the end. Really nice considering it’s low alcohol content.

A amazing beer I drink some bottles (1-3) every week. I think its the perfect "non alcoholic" beer that is ever made, ofcourse it cant have a nice body since the alcoholic always make the body, but the aroma and bitterness is amazing.

Pours dark amber with medium off white head. Aromas of grape, orange, pine. Starts out quite nice but moves over to be a bit to watery and very bitter. I miss caramel sweetness and of course alcohol which qould balance this beer better. Overall being a non alcoholic beer its good!

A clear dark red and an off-white substantial head that lasts with coarse lacing. Impressive aroma of hops, citrus and caramel. Taste is clean bitter, some fruit and hops, though the taste diminishes in the finish it is a decent low alcohol beer when the situation demands it; this is one worth having to hand when needs must.

Bottle. Amber, short to average and mostly diminishing head, Light to moderate, malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel, some tropical fruitiness and some grapefruit - piney hoppyness. Body is light, malty - lightly grainy and dryish flavor, faint caramel, some grapefruit - piney hoppyness. Finish is short, malty and dry, some piney hoppyness. Well...Nice hoppyness considering (watery) body, but...

33cL bottle at brewdog glasgow. I thought this was a "joke beer" at first, but when I poured it I took it seriously. It looks very fit, and the aroma is similar to others. The first taste is awesome, but the end lets you down and just tastes like sour water. Ah well it’s an interesting fun beer anyway, especially if you’re driving.
