COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
And this time it is all about the beer, and the beer is awesome! Gone are the 200+ IBUs which brought grown men to tears! Our new Nanny State is 0.5% ABV and focuses on being a great drink as opposed to a great publicity ploy. This beer is now focussed on getting all that is good about BrewDog into a practically alcohol free format. It is a West Coast inspired pale ale with a difference!

The beer has 45 IBUS and is brewed with centennial, amarillo, columbus, cascade and simcoe and intensively dry-hopped with centennial and amarillo. The backbone is provided by 8 different types of speciality malts with only 87 kilos of malt used in a 20HL batch (our Punk IPA uses 450 kilos in 20HL).

Bottle 33cl, a clear dark amber beer with good off white head. Nose is very hopy on grapefruit, resin and coconut notes. Aroma is on lemon, pine and resin, body is watery but whole beer is properly done and tasty, very nice low alcohol.

Per niente male, seppur il grado alcolico praticamente inesistente. L’amaro è deciso e avvolgente, un succo di luppolo, e per chi è amante del luppolo è il massimo.

Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown with a creamy offwhite head. Aroma of citrusly hops, orangepeel, light pine. Flavor is citrus, light piney hops. Thin watery body, lively carbonation, rather bitter finish. Good for a low ABV beer. 100813

33cl bottle. Looks like a beer, if a little more clear and still looking than a normal ale. Good foamy head. Big dry hopped aroma, and this follows through in the flavor. The body of this though is so weak, but that is perfectly expected. If I had to look for a non alcoholic beer this would certainly be it. Tasty hops. Y

Bottled 0,33L. Dark brown color, very good bubbly aspect, foamy and medium creamy head of good duration. Little roast cereals nose with rumors of hop and resin. Interesting and realy unusual taste, prickly and braced hop aroma, very bittersh final mouth. Agreeable low alcoholic beer, indeed valid one.

HopRedHead (397) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 28, 2013
Bottle from Brew Dog, Camden. Pours dark reddish brown with a short off-white head. Citrus fruits and light caramel malts on the nose, like a solid pale ale. Taste is really watery, retains a fair carbonation but the flavour is a little too absent. It's cool they gave it a go, but I don't think I'll order many more of these.

Bottle. Copper red with an off white foam. Aromas are light toffee and spruce with floral notes. Soapy with yeast and some nuttiness. Cardboard with a herbal leafiness. Flavours are light malts with copper coin metal and peppery, bitter spruce. Dry and gritty on the finish. It’s a very good low alcohol beer brew but not a great beer.
