3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle, 0.33 - batch 138, from Systembolage, 20120712) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, fruitiness and hops in general. Palate was light bodied with high carbonation. Flavours were hops, pine, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. The aroma and the taste were good but the body was too thin.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330 ml bottle. Clear, dark amber color, short-life medium off-white head, caramel and grassy hoppy aroma, light watery body, smooth fizziness, sweet creamy caramel taste, decent grassy and citric hoppy bitter palate with toffee notes. A little bit chewy brew.

2.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Smells nice fresh and hoppy.
Nice white foam. Well carbonated also.
Tastes hoppy and slightly bitter. But it doesn’t have the beer feel.
The palate is rather annoying.
I was hoping this would be a great beer but i am disappointed.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 0.33l. Pours copper to brown with a off white head. Aroma is typical IPA. Lots of hops, resin etc.. So far very good. Taste is medium bitter, no sweetness. Hop and fruit flavour is reduced. Of course the alcohol is missing but nevertheless a really good alcohol free (almost) beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Drank from a bottle at home. A very interesting beer! It tastes like a normal, well hopped beer but misses the kick of alcohol.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours chestnut with a low rocky beige collar. Deeply aromatic with a huge waft of mango, overripe melon and lychee over background coffee bean roast and citrus. Fine soapy hop aggressive with grapefruit and tropical citrus; coffee again, a shaving of nut, truffle-like bitterness. Only the roundedness, finish and buzz of alcohol is missing. Now, if they could just master a calorie and alcohol-free IPA that gets you shit-faced...

Gedronken bij dutchdrebus. Kleur is bruin van kleur en helder. Ruikt hoppig en fris. Smaakt wel hoppig en bitter maar vooral ook waterig.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: NOV 26, 2013 Bottle at The Broker in Oslo. Resin and pine shavings and sap and all of that. Has some cola malz and peanuts notes with a strong toasted brown malt. Harsh and astringent hop bitterness with prickly and lively hop acid. Grapefruit juice, wood, nuts (Chinook?), some dog food malt and a touch of artificial sweetener. Sourish, grainy, husky amber malt finish. The body is interesting, though it’s thin for sure, as expected, but it’s full enough to work. The Christmas tree pine resin note is off-putting but I commend BrewDog for pulling off such a low gravity beer with so much malt character.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Insanely hopped indeed. Like an Ipa but it is somewhat watered down unfortunately. The Emelisse 2.5 might have 2 percent more alcohol but is a masterpiece where this is just good. Bottle at the Twaalf Balcken in Den Burg.
