Never liked alcohol free beer / low alcohol. This was a good try, but still bad. Sorry

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours dark amber. Ridiculous color for such a low alvohol beer. Nose is insane amounts of grass, hay, some ripr fruit, mud. Taste is very nice at first, with peach, hay, grass, soil, banana. However, it stops abruptly, with the taste falling absolutely flat due to the non-existing alcohol.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
My first experience that low alcohol beer can be good after all. Largely thanks to the enormous amounts of hops they added. Nevetheless, some more alcohol would make this beer better.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
330 ml bottle sampled in 2010. Clear amber body with a big, stable beige head. Strong and nice aroma of citric fruit, pine and caramel. Flavor is refreshing fruity, light malty and lots of bitterness. Thin body as expected, but does not feel watery. Bitter aftertaste. This is a very nice low alcohol alternative and better than the later 0,5% version.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home in bonnie Scotland, just a touch past the sell-by date... It pours clear deep amber with a medium yellowish-white head. The nose is intensely woody, bitter grapefruit, tinned pineapple and some subtle caramel. The taste is still aggressively bitter, wood, earth, light astringency, spice and bitter citrus fruit with a dry, rather bitter finish. Light body and lowish carbonation. Ok it is pretty thin and damn bitter, but I rather like it. A bit faded from the fresh version, but the very generous hopping has clearly preserved the beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Craig’s 271012
Dark red amber, clear, frothy white head
Aroma - soft grassy fruity hops and light caramel
Taste - Spicy grassy fruity quite bitter hop with caramel malts
Palate - soft carb. Finish as main flavour, bitter spicy and grassy
Overall - This was far better than the awful lower abv version that I tried, very good for an ultra low alcohol beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Surprisingly full bodied for the strength, sweet and citrus notes from all the hops. Proof that they can make decent beer if they put their minds to it.

Clear brown beer, frothy creamy head. Neutral watery palate. Moderate carbonation. Surprisingly hoppy! Bitter fresh grapefruit. Pretty well flavoured for it’s abv but inevitably a little thin bodied.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
In bottle at Craig’s BrewDog tasting. Pours a dark golden colour with a thin yellowish head. Aroma of pine, pineapple and caramel. Similar flavours and nicely bitter. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. A grassy bitter linger. I prefer this to the 0.5%.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml botle. Best low abv i tried ever. High hop concentration makes it tasty. If not told some may not guess is a low alcohol one.
