Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a pitch black with a brownish head. Very sweet roast in the nose with a buttery edge. Very heavy body, sweet sweet roast, coffee and raisins with a vanilla note. Ends with a warming alcohol finish but never really boozy. Actually very pleasant. 260911

33 cL bottle. Pours pitch black with a minimal tan head. Aroma is thick dark malty, hard roasted, light spiced and dark chocolate. Thick malty and dark deep chocolate. Thick chocolate malty, dark roasted and thick alcohol mixed with a light smoked. Dense, roasted, sweet and dark caramelish finish. Lingering smoked into the far finish.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin dark brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, roasted malt, and coffee. The flavor is very sweet with notes of sugar, alcohol, roasted malt, chocolate, and wood, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. The alcohol burns down the throat.

Way too sweet - not much else but ginormous sugary syrupness. Almost foul but not quite ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a pitch black color with a quickly deminishing tan head. Aroma is very sweet, I get dark fruits, alcohol, liqourice, roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is also quite sweet, with some sugary notes, I also get the dark fruit, chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and liqourice, but the alcohol isn’t really noticable, only in the way of a burn. The body is medium to full with a dry mouthfeel. Overall a pretty nice Imperial Stout, but not as good as I hoped it would be.
